摘要: A seat slide device includes a pair of sliders each including a fixed rail, a movable rail slidably guided by the fixed rail, a bracket on the movable rail configured so that front and rear sides swing opposite to each other in a vertical direction with a longitudinal-intermediate part as a fulcrum, a support bracket supported on the bracket via a hinge and configured to rotate in only one direction from a predetermined orientation about an lateral-direction axis relative to the bracket, a movement-restricting portion configured to restrict sliding of the movable rail while a rear part of the bracket is raised and to release the restriction while the rear part of the bracket is lowered; and a towel bar connecting each support bracket. The hinge part prohibits a rotation of the support bracket while the towel bar is lifted and permits the rotation while the towel bar is lowered.

摘要: A seat track assembly may include a lower seat track having a pair of opposing outer rails and an upper seat track having a pair of opposing inner rails. The inner rails of the upper seat track may cooperate with the outer rails of the lower seat track to support the upper seat track for movement on the lower seat track. A support member may be provided between the lower seat track and the upper seat track. The support member may include a portion that extends in a vertical direction between the lower seat track and the upper seat track to restrict vertical movement of the upper seat track relative to the lower seat track. The support member may also include a portion that extends in a lateral direction between the inner rails of the upper seat track to restrict the inner rails from deforming inwardly toward one another.

摘要: A vehicle seat configured in such a manner that vibration occurring in the seat body can be suppressed without adding a special device such as a dynamic damper. A vehicle seat is configured in such a manner that an upper rail (26) connected to the seat body is slidably supported by a lower rail (28), which is affixed to the vehicle body side, through a pair of slide guides (42, 44) disposed next to each other in the front-rear direction of the seat. The distance (L) between the slide guides (42, 44) is set to be less than the half of the maximum slide amount (S) of the upper rail (26) relative to the lower rail (28). As a result of the configuration, the rigidity of support of the seat body by the vehicle body is reduced to reduce the resonance frequency of the seat body in the front-rear direction. This enables the resonance frequency of the seat body in the front-rear direction to be shifted from the resonance frequency of the vehicle body when the engine of the vehicle is idling.

The rail includes two elongated guide rails that engage with one another and are displaceable in relation to one another in the longitudinal direction of the rails, a retaining bracket for a seatbelt buckle, which is fastened to one of the two guide rails, a slot that is provided in one of the guide rails, through which a fixing section of the retaining bracket is guided into a space enclosed by the two guide rails and a fixing point, at which the fixing section of the retaining bracket is connected to one of the guide rails. The fixing section when viewed from the longitudinal direction of the rails, extends beyond the slot and the fixing point, also viewed from the longitudinal direction of the rails, is located at a distance from the slot.

摘要: An upper rail is slidably engaged with a lower rail in a manner to define an elongate enclosed space therebetween. A lock plate is placed in the elongate enclosed space and secured to the lower rail. A latch lever includes a pawl portion and an input arm and is placed in the elongate enclosed space. The latch lever is pivotally connected to the upper rail to pivot between a lock position where the pawl portion is engaged with a part of the lock plate to establish a locked engagement between the lower and upper rails and an unlock position where the pawl portion is released from the lock plate to cancel the locked engagement. The latch lever is pivoted in a direction from the lock position to the unlock position when the input arm is applied with an external force. A spring member is placed in the elongate enclosed space to bias the latch lever to pivot toward the lock position, An opening is formed in the upper rail for having a given part of the input arm projected outward therethrough.
