    摘要: A caster wheel braking system for braking rotation of a caster wheel includes a caster having a caster plate, a horn base coupled with the caster plate and rotatable about a vertical axis, a pair of legs extending downwardly from the horn base, and at least one caster wheel coupled with the pair of legs and rotatable about a horizontal axis defined by a wheel axle. A mounting plate is spaced from the caster by a spacer. A movable plunger is disposed between the caster plate and the mounting plate and is horizontally movable through a slot provided in the spacer. A brake shoe is vertically movable by the movable plunger between a non-braking position in which the at least one caster wheel is permitted to rotate and a braking position in which the brake shoe exerts a braking force on the at least one caster wheel to at least partially hinder rotation of the at least one caster wheel. A pin may be coupled with the movable plunger and be configured to convert horizontal movement of the movable plunger to vertical movement of the brake shoe. Additionally, a biasing element may be provided adjacent to the brake shoe and be configured to bias the brake shoe toward the non-braking position or the braking position. One or more of the caster wheel braking systems may be provided on a transport vehicle configured to move along a ground surface.

By means of the pedals, the swivel caster can both lock the rotation of a wheel plate of the caster and lock the direction of rotation of the caster, and can also release the dual-locked state by means of the braking release pedal (41) located in the same direction as the braking pedal (32), making the caster return to a state of full freedom again. The braking and braking release actions of the swivel caster are convenient and easy, and the swivel caster is simple to operate.

The body has a through hole for rotatably accommodating a shaft having two coupling ends for respective wheels, with play along a vertical direction. Elastic means are arranged within a transverse channel of the through hole of the body. The main body has two tubular lateral portions, which are coaxial with the through hole and adapted to accommodate a sleeve of a respective wheel fitted on a coupling end of the shaft. A portion of the castor has, along its inner surface, at least one radially protruding slider parallel to the axis of the shaft.

    摘要: A caster-supporting device for a stroller includes a caster-mounting member for extension of a caster axle therethrough, a connector secured to the bottom of the stroller body and having a cylindrical lower portion journalled on the caster-mounting member, and a control body mounted pivotally on the caster-mounting member. Normally, the connector can rotate relative to the caster-mounting member. When the control body is moved to a first position, the key of the control body is inserted into the keyway of the connector, so as to prevent rotation of the connector relative to the caster-mounting member, thereby setting the direction of the caster. When the control body is moved to a second position, the gripping rod of the control body moves to a position between two adjacent spokes of a spoke member which is secured to the caster, so as to prevent any rolling of the caster. Simultaneously, the two parallel clamping plates of the control body move to clamp two parallel side surfaces of the connector therebetween, so as to prevent rotation of the connector relative to the caster-mounting member. A bump (13) on the side surface of the caster-mounting member acts to secure the control body into each of its three positions by seating into one of three holes (331-333) in the control body.
