摘要: A mechanical pencil incrementally rotates a lead by operation of a touch button. The pencil has a barrel in which is disposed a holder. A rotatable pipe having a writing mechanism assembly incorporated therein is attached rotatably to the holder. Around the periphery of the holder, a slide member is disposed to undergo forward and rearward movement, and the slide member is moved forward by pressing the touch button disposed on the barrel. The holder houses a sleeve which is moved forward by the slide member and which turns in a circumferential direction. A rotation-transmitting cam face is provided on each of a front end face of the sleeve and a rear end face of the rotatable pipe. By the forward movement of the sleeve, the cam faces are engaged with each other to incrementally rotate the rotatable pipe, whereby the lead is incrementally rotated.

A fixed hole is formed in the side wall of the front end of the barrel, and a rib groove is formed in the inner front side of the fixed hole. At least one button groove is formed in the front end of the knock button, and at least one protrusion or bump with an inclined plane is formed at the lower side of the rear end of the side button. A shaft is formed by the engagement of the button groove of the front end of the button with the rib groove of the fixed hole. At least one circular bulge which is adapted to engage with the protrusion or bump with the inclined plane is disposed on the side of the intermediate lead tube.

摘要: The present invention relates to a propelling pencil having such a lead feeding mechanism that may feed out the lead automatically by a pressing force and a friction force. A pencil head in which a pencil point is disposed threadly engages with the front end of an outer sleeve that fits over an inner sleeve with clearance fit. The back end of the inner sleeve fits over the front end of a propeller with clearance fit. A damping tube in which a pair of lock sheets is disposed is provided in the back part of the pencil point. Two lock sheets cooperate with each other so that their front ends and back ends may open and close around a mortar and a socket at the center part thereof. The front end of the lock sheet is a locking point for lead feeding, which makes the next lead on the back lie in a following state under the action of gravity, effectively avoiding jam and eliminating noise. After the pencil point has contracted back, the back part of it will get stuck in the opening in the front end of the outer sleeve, making the front part of it not contact with environment and avoiding the lead from being fed out automatically when this pencil is put into pockets or bags.

摘要: This invention is to a writing tool such as mechanical pencil or a ballpoint pen in which a writing shaft having a head member is inserted in an outer sleeve in such a manner that the head member projects from the outer sleeve. A stair or step and a spiral groove are provided on the forward inner surface and the rearward inner surface of a tubular cap, respectively, with an inside diameter of the rear part of the spiral groove being larger. A bearing part is brought into contact with a lead tank provided inside a forward art of the tubular part so that the forward part of the outer sleeve is movable in the axial direction and is locked in the turning direction against a rearward inner surface of the outer sleeve. The rearward part of the tubular body is provided with a slit, holding pieces of a stick-shaped object holder slidably inserted in said slit. A stick-shaped object is held by the holding pieces, and the projection is provided on each holder engaged with the spiral groove of the tubular cap.
