A display for documents or information contained in transparent pouches (2) or other similar elements, includes at least one assembly composed of a row of pouches (2) and a support (1) including a system (3) for holding the row of pouches (2) on the support (1), each pouch (2) having a fastening and pivoting side (4) provided with at least one pivoting element (5), the holding system (3) being arranged such as to allow each pouch (2) to be fastened removably and to be pivoted in the manner of the pages of a book. The holding system (3) consists of at least one magnetic fastening site (3) that is able to retain the pivoting element(s) (5) of each pouch (2) by magnetism and to enable transverse movement of the fastening and pivoting side (4).

The present invention relates to a portable book holder that can be converted from its original size into a small size if a user wants to carry the portable book holder, thereby making it easy to be carried, adjust a supporting area in accordance with the sizes of a book, and allow a user to adjust a book holding stand to his or her desired arbitrary angle.

This new and improved reading apparatus will allow a person to read a book or magazine while their hands are free to perform task, such as, holding a child, talking on a cell phone, holding a strap on the train or bus, as well as, picking up luggage. The invention is made of a rigid plastic, wood, or metal sheet, approximately 9 inches wide and 12 inches long. A belt is attached to the bottom of the apparatus and then fastened around the reader's waist. The attachable belt is adjustable to fit people of any shape and size. A neck strap is attached to the top of the sheet and fastens around the users neck. The adjustable strap placed at a comfortable angle allows for ease of reading items, such as, a book, magazine, paper, newspaper, among other things.

There is disclosed herein hardware for securing and supporting a telephone directory or the like within a protective cover. The hardware includes a support assembly to be secured to the protective cover and for supporting the directory. The assembly includes an elongated backing support having spaced first and second supports. Each support includes an upstanding flange which carries inwardly-extending, book-engaging tines. Each of the tines includes an inner shaped or curved end and has rounded edges, at least along the inner end. In one embodiment one support is integral with the backing support and the other is removably secured thereto.

A book-type ornament adapted to be suspended from a Christmas tree bough or other like support has a plurality of pliant inner sheets folded on themselves to provide pages. A pliant outer sheet is folded on itself to provide top and bottom cover portions, with the pages being arranged therebetween, and with the fold lines of the inner and outer sheets being parallel and adjacent to one another. A flexible elongated element is received in aligned openings located at the fold lines of the inner and outer sheets. This element extends exteriorly of the fold line of the outer sheet to form a loop for suspending the ornament. Planar outer elements overlie the exterior surfaces of the cover portions. The outer elements, which are dimensioned to expose the fold line of the outer sheet, have inturned peripheral flanges overlapping the edges of the cover portions.

A telephone enclosure assembly and directory holder device for use with indoor/outdoor telephone installations. The enclosure includes a one-piece cast or molded plastic housing shell. Side panels can be fastened to the shell and a security lock clip permits the panels to be locked in place but readily replaced in the event of sidewall damage or vandalism. A directory holder is attached to the shell and is capable of storing several directories which can be rotated from a closed position to an open position, allowing each reader to comfortably view all printed matter on each and every page of the directory.

Binders for telephone directories subjected to hard use, vandalism and theft, as in public telephone facilities and the like, and having a front cover panel, a rear cover panel, and a spine along whose opposite longitudinal edges the front and rear cover panels respectively are hingedly connected by living hinges, a thin metal member with oppositely extending wings adapted to lie between and against the bound edges of the pages of the directory and a thin-edged tongue adapted to penetrate the bound edges of said pages and project through a slot in the spine, a hole through the spine-projecting part of said tongue, and ring means coacting with said hole and said spine for locking said tongue and said wings in book-securing position to prevent removal of said telephone directory from said binder, said spine preferably having a thick segment with a transverse passage aligned with the hole in said tongue, and said ring means being passed through said passage and said hole to secure said metal member on said spine.

A binder for computer printout sheets is provided, said binder having front and back covers for the computer printout sheets which can be folded over into a compact form. Preferably the binder has hooks extending at each end thereof to enable the binder to be hooked over a file drawer or the like.
