Abstract:
A tube marking device includes a delivery unit having operating rollers for delivering a tube. A thermal press printing unit includes a first heating device and a press printing roller which are actuated by a first lift cylinder to move vertically. A first transmission printing sheet is mounted to a first rotary disc, carries a plurality of marks thereon, and is moved by an operating unit. Two adjacent marks are continuous to each other or have a spacing therebetween smaller than 50 cm. A control unit is electrically connected to the delivery unit, the thermal press printing unit, the first rotary disc, and the operating unit. The delivery unit and the operating unit respectively move the tube and the first transmission printing sheet. The thermal press printing unit transmissions the plurality of marks of the first transmission printing sheet onto an outer periphery of the tube.
Abstract:
According to one aspect of the present invention, when there is no leaf object striding over a boundary of two leaf rolls in a leaf image, a leaf image generating section performs processing for dividing first leaf image in first print data for leaves and a second leaf image of second print data for leaves at the boundary, replacing one of divided leaf images with one of other divided leaf images that hold the boundary between the first leaf image and the second leaf image to generate a first combined-leaves image and a second combined-leaves image, and rotating the second combined-leaves image at a predetermined angle.
Abstract:
In order to mark a laboratory sample cassette (2), dye marks (40, 41) are printed by an inkjet printer head (7) onto a tape (11). Rollers (17) move the tape (11) from a first location (13) adjacent to the printer head (7) to a cassette receiving location (15). A cassette clamp marker (8) at the cassette receiving location (15) has a shaped member (10) arranged to fold the tape (11) when a laboratory sample cassette (2) is in the cassette receiving location (15) so that part of the tape (11) covers a marking surface (6) of the cassette (2) and another part of the tape (11) covers a side surface (4) of the cassette (2). The shaped member (10) also has heating pads (26, 29) and when an actuator (32) applies the shaped member (10) to the tape (11) in the cassette receiving location (15), the heating pads (26, 29) are heated so that dye of the dye marks (40, 41) on the tape (11) ingresses into the marking surface (6) and the side surface (4) of the cassette (2) to mark these surfaces.
Abstract:
A film transfer device guides a transfer film at least partly around a transfer cylinder having a channel. As a result of entrainment of the transfer film by an edge region of the channel during indexing, considerable impairment to web tension occurs, requiring an indexing speed to be reduced so as not to cause damage to the film. In order to increase an indexing frequency, in one region, i.e. more precisely in an edge region of the channel of the transfer cylinder, a coating is provided having such a nature that it at least reduces an adhesion of a rear side of the transfer film to the edge region of the channel, i.e. to the transfer cylinder in this case. In this way, the film slides better off the edge region of the channel and a higher indexing speed can be achieved.
Abstract:
A hot-stamping foil tape cassette comprises a hot-stamping foil tape transferred by pressure application together with a value-added medium to the value-added medium and a windup reel for winding up the hot-stamping foil tape. The reel on which the hot-stamping foil tape is wound is stored in a cassette case. A shutter is included which at the time of hot-stamping transfer is in a protective position that protects the hot-stamping foil tape. The shutter at the time of hot-stamping transfer withdraws to a withdrawal position that does not interfere with action of the hot-stamping transfer. After hot-stamping, by the shutter, the hot-stamping foil tape can be peeled from the value-added medium. A foil-peeling mechanism for a hot-stamping device, a peeling method for a hot-stamping foil and a control method for a hot-stamping foil tape cassette are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Apparatus for applying foil to a stock, including means for moving the stock and foil and foil supporting carrier to a printing position where pressure is applied to transfer a predetermined shape of foil which is adhered to the stock and wherein the means for moving includes a first means for moving the carrier at the speed of the stock during the printing operation and second means for moving the carrier at a slower speed between printing operation and the method of using the apparatus.
Abstract:
A flat embossing machine for flat material (5) to be embossed has a flat press (2), an embossing table (3) and a tool plate (4). At least one foil web (6) passes through foil loop stores (10, 20) each with a differential pressure device (30) for shaping a foil loop (12) with an air pressure difference exerted on the foil web. A foil feed device (24) and a tensioning device (25) are on each side of the flat press and a foil feed control (52) operates in synchronism with the press cycle so that the foil web is stopped during the embossing phase (TP) on the embossing table (3) and is advanced to the next embossing position during the embossing-free phase. Speed differences between the feed speed (VV) at the embossing location and web speed (V7) at the unwinding roll or at the removal device (V8) are compensated for by corresponding increases and decreases in the size of the loops (L1, L2) in the foil stores. This allows high embossing speeds with optimum quality.
Abstract:
A blower arrangement for detachment of a metallized belt from a sheet and for creating a braking force on a sheet, which belt and sheet are situated between platens of a press in a machine for printing sheet elements which comprises a bar arrangement near the exit of the press in which is provided a series of nozzles having the form of flattened parallelpipeds, each of these nozzles being sealed by a translational mobile cylindrical valve member movable perpendicular to an air supply duct with the valve member having a communication passage. The plane of the jets coming from the nozzles is directed approximately horizontally between the metallized belt and the sheet.
Abstract:
A cylinder press converted to printing foil embossed images onto a printing stock. A supply roll of foil bearing ribbon is mounted forward on the reciprocating chase and the ribbon is extended over the chase through a pair of adjusting guide rollers to a stationary take-up mechanism. In the take-up mechanism, the ribbon is wrapped around a puller roller and onto a rewind roller. One of the guide rollers is stationary and the other reciprocates in a parallel path in at least half the speed of the reciprocating chase. The ribbon is wound in a serpentine configuration around the reciprocating guide roller forward to the stationary guide roller and back to the take-up mechanism to thereby retain a fixed pathway length regardless of the position of the chase. The ribbon is wrapped around the puller roller having a friction gripping surface for non-slip pulling of the ribbon. A stepping motor provides precise rotational control of the puller roller and a programmable computer is selectively programmed for the desired sequence of ribbon movement.
