    摘要： A barrel mixer and assembly is disclosed. The barrel mixer comprises a rotary mixer barrel and a support for the rotary mixer barrel. The support includes a tipping arrangement for the barrel, wherein the support limits tipping of the barrel between a mixing position in which the barrel is angled to retain its contents, and a pouring position in which the barrel is angled so that its contents are poured out. The mixer also a motor having a motor output shaft aligned parallel to an axis of rotation of the barrel, and a mounting plate attached to the motor and surrounding the motor output shaft. Finally, the mixer has a transmission mounted on the support for rotating the barrel. The transmission includes step-down gearing between the motor and the barrel.

    摘要： A portable mixer and method include providing a support frame having wheels and an opposite handle, an outer drum having a rotational drive mounted on the support frame, a rotatable drum, and a removable mixing container held inside the rotatable drum. A pivot arm handle extends at least one meter from the outer drum center of gravity. At least two spaced apart top handles on the removable mixing container are positioned axially spaced apart from at least two spaced apart bottom grippers. A handle extends from the support frame a distance at least one meter from the wheels. A mixer blade promotes thorough mixing. A keyway groove secures the removable mixing container within the rotatable drum. The keyway groove also serves as the mixer blade. A sidewall key on the rotatable drum expands into and holds the removable mixing container. A lock-in insert on the rotatable drum expands into and holds the removable mixing container.

    摘要： A portable self-propelled concrete mixer vehicle. A frame assembly having parallel frame members supports a platform and a mixing barrel which extends forwardly beyond the periphery of the frame assembly. An engine and counterweight are mounted rearwardly of the barrel and on the platform so as to provide a counterbalancing force whereby the mixer can easily be tilted to unload the barrel. The engine further supplies a power source for rotating the mixing barrel and for selectively driving the mixer vehicle. A pair of ground engaging drive wheels are adapted for unidirectional rotation to prevent accidental reverse movement of the mixer vehicle. The mixing barrel has plural blades defining irregularly shaped openings with the barrel wall and are designed to mix the materials to a uniform consistency.

    摘要： A barrel mixer assembly is disclosed. The barrel mixer assembly comprises a rotary mixer barrel and a support for a rotary mixer barrel. The motor and gearing tip with the barrel when the support is moved between the mixing position and the pouring position. The motor and transmission are disposed substantially behind the wheels such that the motor and transmission are disposed on the same side of the support. The support comprises a resting surface extending on the motor and transmission side of the frame such that when the mixer is in the mixing position the mixer rests upon the resting surface and a foot extends beyond the wheels of the mixer such that when the mixer is in the pouring position the mixer rests upon the foot.
