摘要： A device for trimming the distal ends of hair drawn therethrough is provided which has a head portion having a handle portion extending therefrom. Drawing hair strands along a serpentine pathway formed between a positioning member and a recess in the head, causes distal ends thereof to momentarily project through an opening and into a cutting cavity where they are cut only when a flexible paddle urges the projecting distal ends into a cutting component. The length of the distal ends cut may be adjusted by engagement of variable sized interchangeable cutting components.

摘要： The invention relates to a thinning tool (1) for a hair clipper (2) containing lower and top shearing knives (3, 4), each of which is provided with a row of teeth (5, 6). Said top knife (4) is actuated by alternating oscillation motion in a parallel direction to said rows of teeth (5, 6), the inventive thinning tool (1) being shaped in such a way that it is arrangeable on the lower knife (3). Said thinning tool (1) comprises a row of tines (7) which forms an extension (L) of the teeth (8) of the row of teeth (5) of the lower knife (3). The row of tines (7) is provided with fine slots (11) which have a conical extension (V) on the free ends thereof for holding and guiding hairs (10). The width (B) of tine slots (11) on the side of the shearing knives (3, 4) corresponds to a hair diameter and is used for guiding the hairs (10) towards said shearing knives (3, 4). In this way, the hairs (10) are cut one by one instead of being simultaneously cut in such a way that a fine graded hair thinning is obtainable without striates by said simple means.

摘要： A hair groomer thinning guide relates to a hair groomer whose casing comes with a -shaped comb carrier featuring combing teeth as a thinning guide on the front end. Both the top and the bottom are equipped with a lengthy groove, with the groomer having a cylindrical switch on its top and a round-shaped adjustable knob on the bottom. The lengthy grooves on the top and bottom plates are fitted with a positioning claw and a braking claw, which are positioned correspondingly on both sides of the switch and the adjustable knob. By pressing the adjustable knob to separate the braking claw from the braking teeth, the comb carrier would then move in linear form back and forth to form irregular pitches between the combing teeth and the groomer, thus thinning the hair, and the comb carrier moves to the front end to turn in 180° forcing the comb face backward, thus freeing the thinning combing teeth.

A driving unit for reciprocates at least one of the comb-shaped blades so as to clip hair strands introduced between the edges of the comb-shaped blades through the first apertures of the thinning member. An opening-and-closing member is provided to open and close the first apertures of the thinning member.

摘要： An attachment is provided for electric beard trimmers which spaces the teeth on the blades of the trimmer a desired distance from the skin to produce stubble having the appearance of uniform growth. The attachment may be selectively secured to and removed from the trimmer. The attachment covers the cutting teeth on the blades and includes a plurality of openings which expose selected teeth on the trimmer blades. The length of the trimmed stubble may be between about 0.010 inches and 0.090 inches or more, and is determined by the configuration of the blades of the trimmer and the thickness of the attachment.
