According to the invention the support zone is smaller than the polished chamfer and is kept a lateral distance away from the secondary cutting edge by an intermediate part, more particularly a recessed intermediate part, of the polished chamfer.

    摘要: The invention relates to a shaft tool for machine tools, comprising a shaft, a tool head disposed at a shaft end and equipped with at least one cutting element, and comprising a coupling element disposed at the other shaft end for direct or indirect connection to a machine spindle. A unique feature of the invention is that the shaft comprises a peripheral groove that extends along the circumference of the shaft and is open radially, and at least one spreading element that engages in the peripheral groove and can be radially adjusted therein, resulting in the exertion of spreading and bending forced onto the groove flanks. The peripheral groove is filled with a filler material at least in the area of the spreading element, the filler material having both a sealing function against contaminants and a damping function. The filler material also acts as a rotation prevention for the spreading elements.

    摘要: The invention relates to a reaming tool which has on its enveloping surface substantially helical flutes. High hardness cutting materials are brazed or soldered to the base material of the reaming tool. Thus, a cost-favourable manufacture of a reaming tool is provided. The invention makes it possible for the shaft and the head of the reaming tool to be made of solid carbide metal, the shaft and the head preferably constituting the one and same integrate body. A considerable improvement is obtained as regards the processing quality, the speed, and also the durability of the tool. This is based on the fact that the chip removal elements are sintered or brazed into the base body of the head initially shaped with the helical flutes, so that a material joint of high quality is provided compared to other joints.
