The threshold injection criterion has been met, an injection slurry is thereby formed. A method of sequestering battery waste includes introducing an injection slurry including battery recycling waste into a subsurface structure at a depth of at least 500 m.

摘要: A recycling method for generating purified lithium salts from a recycling stream of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries includes leaching black mass from the recycling stream in an aqueous solution of an oxidizing agent. Delithiated black mass is filtered from the aqueous solution to generate a Li-rich leach solution, which is subjected to nanofiltration to form a nanofiltration permeate from which the purified lithium salt is obtained.

摘要: A safe discharge method for waste lithium ion batteries includes steps of mixing the waste lithium ion batteries and conductive particles in a discharge chamber to make the waste lithium ion batteries to discharge, calculating an internal resistance of the discharge chamber according to pressurization pressure; calculating a discharge rate of the waste lithium ion batteries; dynamically adjusting the pressurization pressure to keep the discharge rate of the waste lithium ion batteries to be 0.1-3 C; monitoring an internal temperature of the discharge chamber in real time; when the internal temperature is greater than an early warning temperature, reducing the pressurization pressure by 20%-60%; when the internal temperature is greater than a warning temperature, relieving the pressurization pressure to 0 N, reducing the pressurization pressure by 60%-90% after the internal temperature drops below the early warning temperature, and re-compacting to discharge the waste lithium ion batteries.

The fraction includes carbon (C), lithium (Li) and at least one of cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), or iron (Fe). ii) The fraction comprising active material is subsequently fed to a melt-down unit and is melted down in the presence of slag-forming agents so that a molten slag phase and a molten metal phase are formed, iii) Then, the lithium (Li) contained in the molten slag phase and/or molten metal phase is converted into a gas phase by the addition of a fluorinating agent and the carbon (C) is converted into a gas phase by the addition of an oxygen-containing gas, and the lithium and carbon are withdrawn from the process as discharge gas.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a method for recovering active material from waste battery by desorption, comprising steps of: reacting wound cores of cathode and anode current collectors of waste battery with carbon tetrachloride and chlorine to obtain remaining wound cores, a solution of aluminum chloride in carbon tetrachloride and a first desorption powder of cathode; soaking the remaining wound cores and the first desorption powder of cathode in water to obtain soaked wound cores, a lithium salt solution and a second desorption powder of cathode; and reacting the soaked wound cores with nitric acid to obtain a copper nitrate solution and a desorption powder of anode. The waste lithium-ion battery only needs to be discharged and disassembled, and no shredding process is required, which avoids steps of shredding and sorting, reduces equipment investment. In addition, cathode and anode materials can be effectively recovered, and the product has high economic value.
