Abstract:
Embodiments provide a swimming assist garment capable of adjusting buoyancy positions. In the embodiments, the swimming assist garment includes a swimsuit, a buoyancy mechanism, and a gas regulating mechanism. The inflatable end of the gas regulating mechanism is connected to first airbags of a first buoyancy assembly and a second airbag of a second buoyancy assembly. The first bidirectional air pumps are connected to each first airbag and each third airbag of the first buoyancy assembly; and a second bidirectional air pump is connected to the second airbag and the fourth airbag of the second buoyancy assembly, to change the buoyancy positions of the swimsuit to adapt to swimming postures or to support the head on the water.
Abstract:
The invention includes a floatation device. The floatation device includes a body fabricated from a buoyant foam, and the body comprises an outer side wall, a top side comprising a downwardly sloped portion and a level portion, an inner opening at the center of the level portion, and a division extending from the outer side wall to the inner opening. The floatation device may also include one or more front, rear, and/or side extensions as well as one or more inserts, in some embodiments.
Abstract:
A floatation device is provided. In some embodiments, a floatation device is provided, comprising an inflatable ring composed of a transparent material, wherein the inflatable ring includes: an outer air chamber having a first valve for inflating the outer air chamber; an inner air chamber having a second valve for inflating the inner air chamber, wherein the outer air chamber and the inner air chamber are not in communication; a cut through the outer air chamber and the inner air chamber of the inflatable ring that forms opposing ends of the inflatable ring; and a plurality of fasteners placed on a top surface and a bottom surface of the outer or inner air chamber for detachably connecting the opposing ends of the inflatable ring.
Abstract:
An inflatable swimwear product is disclosed including a main body, a left armlet coupled to the main body, and a right armlet coupled to the main body. The inflatable swimwear product may buoyantly support a user's upper body in water and permit the user's lower body to sink in water, thereby allowing the user to safely practice swimming.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a buoyant swimsuit, and more specifically to a swimsuit, for which the top and bottom portions form a single piece, provided with: a zipper on the front top portion of the swimsuit, moving vertically up and down, so as to facilitate putting on the swimsuit; and buoyancy-generating buoyant member on either side of the zipper on the front top portion of the swimsuit, a part of the back top portion of the swimsuit, and parts of the leg portions on front and back bottom portions of the swimsuit, wherein the buoyant member is formed by sewing a first fabric and a second fabric together, foam being interposed therebetween, and the first fabric and second fabric are made of neoprene. The swimsuit according to the present invention is highly buoyant but does not hinder the movement of a swimmer and is easy to put on, and thus has the benefit of facilitating beginning swimmers or young children in learning to swim. Furthermore, the present invention has the benefit of preventing drowning accidents of poor swimmers such as young children or the disabled.
Abstract:
The presently disclosed subject matter relates to a flotation device suited to teach beginner swimming techniques or provide enjoyment in an aquatic environment while providing flotation to at least a portion of the swimmer's body. The flotation device for aiding a swimmer in a body of water may comprise a body formed from an extruded foam and comprising a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side rail, a second side rail, a leading lateral surface, and a trailing lateral surface, and wherein the extruded foam is a flexible cellular foam. The presently disclosed subject matter also relates to methods of making the flotation device.
Abstract:
A display system comprising a user terminal apparatus configured to transmit a swimming image to a display apparatus, the display apparatus configured to reproduce the swimming image received from the user terminal apparatus, and a sensing apparatus configured to sense, while the user is swimming, user location information in real time, and transmit the sensed user location information to the user terminal apparatus or the display apparatus. The user terminal apparatus or the display apparatus displays swimming information of the user based on the received user location information.
Abstract:
A flexible floating apparatus has a flexible bone structure and a floating cover. The flexible bone structure has at least a first joint part and a second joint part. The first joint part and the second joint part are connected with a first resistance force to keep a relative position between the first joint part and the second joint part. A floating cover is made of buoyant material wrapping the flexible bone structure. The shape of the floating cover is changed when the relative position between the first joint part and the second joint part is changed.
Abstract:
A swimming resistance trainer including, for example, a frame assembly and a torso support structure attached to the frame assembly. The torso support structure includes a bench rail generally in parallel with a plurality of elongated slide rails of the frame assembly. The torso support structure also includes a bench assembly slidably attached to the bench rail and positioned to elevate a user's torso generally above the bench rail. The trainer further includes armrest mechanisms, a pair of arm resistance members elastically connecting corresponding armrest mechanisms to a portion of the frame assembly, and a pair of leg resistance members elastically connecting corresponding user's legs to a portion of the frame assembly proximate the rear side. The arm resistance members are positioned to resist sliding movement of the armrest mechanisms toward the rear side, and the leg resistance members are positioned to resist movement of the user's legs.
