Abstract:
A tabletop system for detachably engaging a railing provides a tabletop with a substantially planar upper surface and at least one bracket assembly. The bracket assembly includes an elongated member that is removably engaged with the tabletop and is configured to span over a handrail of the railing. The bracket assembly also includes a bracing member that is coupled with an end portion of the elongated member and extends downward proximate spindles of the railing. An engagement device is coupled with a lower portion of the bracing member and is configured to detachably engage an adjacent pair of the spindles for rigidly securing the bracket assembly to support the tabletop.
Abstract:
A tilted gauge head for indicating liquid level within a container is operatively connectable to a liquid level sending unit. The gauge head includes a mounting base adapted for connection to the container, an indicator dial assembly operatively connectable to the liquid level sending unit for indicating liquid level, and at least one bracket with a rear mounting wall connected to the mounting base and a front mounting wall connected to the indicator dial assembly. The mounting walls are oriented at an acute angle with respect to each other such that the indicator dial assembly is oriented or tilted at the acute angle with respect to the mounting base. In this manner, the indicator dial assembly can more easily be viewed by a user from an angle to thereby reduce parallax reading errors.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vegetable-growth device, comprising one or more supporting beams, one or more connecting elongated elements and one or more locking elements. Each supporting beam is provided with one or more recessed portions, each recessed portion having at least one slanted surface. The shape of the connecting elongated members is suitable to be housed within the recessed portion, wherein said portion is suitable to prevent an elongated member housed therein from easily disengaging therefrom. The extremity of the elongated members can be hollow, or suitable to combine with a female or with a male capping ends.
Abstract:
A system for raising and lowering a wide range of objects on an elongated tubular structure includes a carriage subsystem with a tubular body having an interior central channel an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the elongated tubular structure. Rollers facilitate linear translation of the tubular body along the elongated tubular structure. At least one hook is pivotally mounted on the tubular body and configured to controllably engage a means for locking the carriage in a raised position. The carriage subsystem also includes a flange for attaching an object to the carriage subsystem. A winch and cable control motion of the carriage system between a lowered position adjacent to the base and a raised position adjacent to the top of the tubular structure. A collar attached to the top of the tubular structure includes a tubular body with an outer diameter less than the inner diameter of the tubular body of the carriage subsystem. At least one slot is formed in the tubular body of the collar and configured for controllable engagement by the hook pivotally mounted on the tubular body in the interior central channel of the carriage subsystem. At least one pulley is rotatably mounted to the tubular body of the collar and configured for guiding a lanyard attached to the carriage subsystem at one end of the lanyard. An irrigation subsystem may be provided to irrigate supported planters. An electrical subsystem comprising aligned electrode assemblies may also be provided to supply electric power to an electrical load supported by the carriage when the carriage is locked in the raised position.
Abstract:
An apparatus for displaying a plant is described. The apparatus includes a first substantially horizontal member that engages a first surface of a structure at a first vertical position. A second substantially horizontal member engages a second surface of the structure at a second vertical position that is lower than the first vertical position. The first surface is opposite to the second surface. A frame is coupled to the second substantially horizontal member and is shaped to support a pot containing the plant. The weight of the supported plant urges the first substantially horizontal member against the first surface of the structure and urges the second substantially horizontal member against the second surface of the structure, thereby securing the apparatus to the structure.

Abstract:
A rotary adjusting hook contains a hooking member including a circular first loop fitted on one end thereof, a first vertical segment extending downward from another end thereof, and a hook segment extending outward from the first vertical segment; a first retainer including a circular second loop fitted on one end thereof, a second vertical segment extending downward from another end thereof, a second retainer including a circular third loop fitted on one end thereof, and a third vertical segment extending downward from another end thereof; a positioning set including an axial connecting member and an adjusting member, and the axial connecting member including a first coupling segment to connect with an adjusting member; the adjusting member including a second coupling segment to connect with the first coupling segment of the axial connecting member.
Abstract:
Suction Cup Surface Mounted Shelf and Planter Assembly, when temporarily affixed to any appropriate surface, can be used to simulate an indoor greenhouse and/or used as an outdoor window box planter. The Assembly can also be used as a support and containment system for any appropriate item. The Suction Cup Surface Mounted Shelf can be used independently from the planter and serve as a general purpose shelf to hold appropriate items. The Planter can be utilized as a freestanding planter and/or serve as a general purpose container to hold appropriate items.
Abstract:
The teachings provided herein are generally directed to a portable, utility panel for adding a utility to a fencing material. The panel comprises a vertical base panel including a front surface having a utility and a back surface, the back surface positioned parallel, or substantially parallel, to a fencing material during a use of the utility panel. The panel can have tool-free fasteners attached to the vertical base panel for releasably connecting the vertical base panel to the fencing material in a fixed, or substantially fixed, position relative to an x, y, and z-direction.
Abstract:
A corner bead magnetic bracket has a support portion with at least one magnet embedded therein. The support portion magnetically adheres to a metallic portion embedded in a wall. To increase the magnetic holding power, a washer is placed between the support portion and the magnet. The corner bead magnetic bracket has a shelf portion. To relocate or remove, a user applies enough force to break the magnetic bond and repositions to a new location. Other embodiments include wall and light sconce, vase, curio cabinet, flat shelf, etc. that are easily placed and removed as described above. Rare earth magnets are used to ensure a positive grip.
