摘要： As storage and dispensing system for the storage of dispensable products under atmospherically modified conditions and for the dispensing of such products from the system. The system is for use with dispensable products, more particularly for use with roasted whole-bean coffee in any retailing application, to extend shelf life of the product. The invention comprises a storage and dispensing container, a valve for enabling a fluid communication between the container and an atmosphere modification source (vacuum pump, inert gas insertion device or other oxygen depletion mechanism), and a gateway for opening the container to the atmosphere and dispensing the product therefrom. A merchandising unit for storing and dispensing perishables includes a plurality of the above described vacuum storage and dispensing containers.

摘要： A system and method for distribution and dispensing of particulate items, and preferably to the distribution of bulk dry food in a sealed packaging in a sealed packaging unit, and the dispensing thereof. The bulk item dispenser is a two-part system, comprising a dispensing unit and a packaging unit. The packaging unit is filled with particulate items at a distribution location. The items are held within the unit with a sidably removable material-retaining element. The packaging unit is shipped to a distribution location, where the unit is assembled with a dispensing unit. Assembly is a two-step process. In the first step, the dispensing unit snap fits to a first location on the packaging unit. The element remains in the packaging unit. Next, the element is removed. The dispensing unit snap fits to a second location on the packaging unit. The second location is distal to where the element had been.

摘要： A dry mix particulate dispenser includes a container configured to hold a dry mix particulate. The container has a top portion, a bottom portion, and at least one side wall. The container includes a dispenser opening formed in the bottom portion and a sloped interior wall within the container is angled in a direction generally toward the opening. A slide track is positioned adjacent the bottom portion of the container receives an elongate slider. 摘要： An article dispenser is disclosed for dispensing articles, such as pieces of candy, out a dispensing opening in the dispenser. Articles are stored in a storage chamber inside the dispenser. An inclined flipper plate forms the bottom of storage chamber. A flipper arm is positioned near the bottom edge of flipper plate. An actuator is included for vibrating the flipper plate and flipper arms causing the articles to slide down the flipper plate onto the flipper arms where they are flipped up onto a dispensing slide located above the storage chamber. Articles flipped up onto the dispensing slide are dispensed out of the dispenser through the dispensing opening.

摘要： The present invention relates to a rack structure for displaying and dispensing candy which comprises a plurality of enclosed containers arranged in first second and third rows, each container being totally enclosed on all sides and having a base, a supply of candy and a downwardly extending outlet for dispensing candy from the supply; and a support structure for retaining the containers in spaced relation in the rows. The support structure of each row of containers includes first and second horizontally disposed rods each having first and second ends, the enclosed containers supported on the first and second horizontally disposed rods; connecting bars for engaging the rod ends to maintain the rods in substantially parallel spaced relation for supporting the base of each container; vertical support rods for positioning the support structure to enhance the visibility of the containers; and at least one catch basin supported on the first horizontal rod in position under one or more of the container outlets for receiving candy that has been improperly dispensed, thus preventing spills of the same.
