摘要： Sports footwear comprising an upper having a toe portion and a sole fixed to said upper. The sports footwear also comprises a protection element mounted on the side surface of the toe portion. This protection element is fixed permanently to the side surface of the toe portion and is provided with an outer surface provided with first coupling means for coupling a covering component on the protection element. The first coupling means of the protection element define a seat suitable for housing a fastening element for fastening the covering element onto the protection element. The seat has a direction of insertion which is substantially parallel to the side surface of the toe portion of the footwear on which the protection element is mounted. A covering component suitable for use with footwear is also described.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to protect an instep of a tourist or an inspector at a worksite where safety shoes are required without forcing him or her to replace shoes. A protecting tool 1 for a shoe 9 comprises an overshoe type attaching member 2 which is put on over a footwear in a state of wearing the footwear, and a protecting member 3 having rigidity and attached to the attaching member 2 so as to cover at least an instep portion, wherein the protecting member 3 comprises a curved portion 31 which is curved along at least a shape of the instep portion, and a leg portion 32 which comes into contact with the ground when the curved portion 31 receives an impact so that the curved portion 31 is prevented from moving toward the instep portion in a state in which the curved portion 31 is spaced from the instep portion, and the attaching member 2 comprises holding means 4 for holding the protecting member 3 such that a lower end edge 32a of the leg portion 32 is located above a ground-contact surface except a case in which the protecting member 3 receives an impact.

摘要： A football boot (1) has a ball controlling surface which comprises an elasticated frictional surface. Conveniently the elasticated frictional surface may be provided in the form of a plurality of pieces of frictional material (11a, 11b, 11c, . . . ) fixed to an elasticated surface (12). Alternatively the elastic material may be provided between adjacent pieces of frictional material. The surface may equally be provided in the form of a material which inherently has both elasticated and frictional properties. 摘要： A foot protector is disclosed herein. The foot protector comprises an upper shield, suitable for conforming to, covering and protecting the metatarsal or middle portion of the foot; an anterior shield, suitable for conforming to, covering and protecting the phalanges or toe portion of the foot; and a flexible joint which connects the two shields and allows for substantially normal foot motion. The foot protector may be used on cleated athletic footwear, such as those worn by football players, to prevent foot injuries without hindering athletic performance. The foot protector may be equipped with eyelets on the upper shield and a strap or laces on the anterior shield as a means of securing the device to the underlying shoe.
