    摘要: There is provided a temperature switch in which a thermally actuated element operates in response to heat from a thermosensitive surface unrelated to an energization path and complexity of a structure is relatively low. The temperature switch includes: a thermally actuated element configured to be inverted in warping direction at a predetermined temperature; an elastic plate structure including a movable portion moving with inversion of the thermally actuated element; a fixed contact; and a movable contact provided on the movable portion and configured to come into contact with and separate from the fixed contact. The thermally actuated element is disposed outside a current path generated when the movable contact and the fixed contact are in contact with each other.

    摘要: A temperature switch includes an elastically deformable movable plate, a movable contact on the movable plate, a fixed contact facing the movable contact, a thermally deformable member, a vibration suppression section, and a cover. The thermally deformable member is elastically deformed in accordance with a temperature change to elastically deform the movable plate such that the movable contact is in contact with the fixed contact or spaced apart from the fixed contact. The vibration suppression section suppresses vibrations of the movable plate by contacting a fixed-edge side when the movable plate is elastically deformed to shift the movable plate from being in contact with the fixed contact to being spaced apart therefrom. The cover surrounds the movable and fixed contacts, and the vibration suppression section is a projecting section provided on the cover.

    摘要: A thermal protector includes, in a fixed manner, a first terminal and a second terminal that are respectively connected to external circuits, at lower left/right ends of the longitudinal directions of a base, and a right end at which a movable plate and a bimetal are superimposed is fixed to the right end of the upper surface of the base and is connected to the second terminal. A fixed contact is fixed to an internal end of the first terminal that is exposed in the left end of the base. A movable contact is fixed at a position facing the fixed contact on the lower surface of the left end of the movable plate. A partition wall that encloses the movable contact and the fixed contact from three directions is provided and bent plate planes are formed on both sides of the movable plate in the vicinity of the movable contact. The bent plate planes adjust the flow direction of hot air in cooperation with the partition wall so as to prevent a malfunction of a breaking arc flying to surrounding conductive members.

    摘要: Various embodiments include a thermal protector, including the rear end of a movable plate fixed to one end of a resin base and a pair of terminals for connection with an external circuit fixed to the other end thereof. Fixed contacts are formed on the fixed portions of the terminals, and the movable contact of the movable plate is disposed opposed to the fixed contacts. A bimetal element engaged with the center of the movable plate is set to project upward at normal temperature, thus bringing the movable contact into pressure contact with the fixed contacts with prescribed contact pressure. The bimetal element consists of an inversion area wherein the inversion area has no portion overlapping the conduction path area of load current.

    摘要: A movable plate 8 is partitioned by a slim hole 23 into a narrow-width part 21 and a wide-width part 22. When a contact is closed as a thermal switch 10, the narrow-width part 21 produces heat with an applied current branched via a first terminal 3 and a second terminal 4, which short-circuits both ends of the current limit resistor, and the heat of a bimetal 9 is retained with a small amount of local heat to self-hold the non-restoration state, so that the current limit resistor is quickly cooled down. When the power supply switch is turned off, the heat produced by the narrow-width part 21 is quickly cooled down to restore the thermal switch 10 in a short time. Also when the power supply is again turned on in a short time, the current limit resistor is made to function efficiently.

The power cord has two power lines and a detection line provided between them, and the sheath portion between the detection line and the power line is thinner than the insulating sheath material of the cord contact portion. When the power line becomes half-broken and damaged by the fatigue with the passage of time due to bendings and pulls, the broken ends of the thin lines of the power line are untwisted and contact the thin sheath portion of the detection line, a current flows through the detection line, a current difference occurs in the power line, the power shutdown device detects the difference, releases a latch, and opens a constant close interlocking switch, thereby shutting off the power.
