摘要: A foldable enclosure apparatus, for a child, including an upper assembly forming an upper portion of an enclosure, and a base assembly connected to the upper assembly and forming a lower portion of the enclosure that supports a base pad. The upper assembly and base assembly are coupled by a side structure of posts, and the upper assembly, base assembly, and side structure are configured so that the foldable enclosure apparatus folds and unfolds effecting closing and opening of the foldable enclosure apparatus between closed and open positions. A flexible frame bassinet is included in the upper portion and dependent from the upper assembly. A changing platform, separate and distinct from the bassinet, is connected to the upper assembly. The changing platform is pivotally mounted to the upper assembly with mounts separate and distinct from mounting of the bassinet, the mounts include a hinged coupling and snap on clamps.

摘要: An infant care apparatus includes a base. A drive mechanism and a vibratory mechanism are coupled to the base. A movable stage is movably mounted to the base. An infant support is coupled to the movable stage. The drive mechanism imparts a first cyclic motion to the movable stage, and imparts a second cyclic motion to at least part of the movable stage independent of the first cyclic motion and to the vibratory mechanism so that the vibration motor vibrates the movable stage. The infant support is coupled to the movable stage and moves cyclically in both the first and second cyclic motions. The controller is configured to move the infant support in a selectably variable motion profile with selectable vibration modes selected from different selectably variable motion profiles and selectably different vibration modes for each of the different selectable variable motion profiles.

摘要: Provided is a child restraint system (CRS) with automated installation that provides automated feedback and control of seat installation angle, belt latching and tightening, and confirmation of correct install. The CRS utilizes sensors to monitor CRS base angle relative to level, confirm correct latching of the CRS to its base and then to the vehicle seat, and confirm tightening of the belts to the required tension to be crashworthy. The stepwise operation and confirmation of the installation procedure may be operated via button(s) or other tactical input, and relayed to the user via electronic visual display and/or audible means. All operations will be overseen and processed by an integrated control system, affording minimal user decision or interface. An intelligent latching device which can be adapted for use with an existing CRS is also provided.

摘要: A stroller is provided which includes a right frame and a left frame. Each frame has a front support rotatably connected to a rear support at a frame joint. The front support of each frame is a telescoping tube assembly. The stroller further includes a linkage comprising at least two substantially rigid members connected between the right frame and the left frame, the rigid members being connected to the front supports at a right slideable joint and a left slidable joint. The joints are received within the slot of the outer tube. A drive mechanism coupled to the right or left frame is also provided. The front support and the rear support of the right frame and the left frame are movable from an open position to a closed position by the drive mechanism.
