    摘要： Provided is an occupant's leg restraint device suitable for restraining the legs of an occupant when an automobile has an oblique collision or an offset barrier collision. The occupant's leg restraint device has an airbag and an inflator for supplying gas to the lower part of the airbag to inflate the airbag, and the airbag has a first panel on the occupant side and a second panel on the side opposite thereto. An upper part of the inside of the airbag is divided into small chambers by vertical separating panels that are joined to the first panel and the second panel and that extend vertically. In a state where the airbag has inflated, recessed portions having a depth of 20 to 40 mm are formed in the occupant-side surface of the airbag along the vertical separating panels.

    摘要： Provided is an airbag device in which heights of folded bodies of an airbag covered with a protector cloth are different at parts. An airbag device includes a retainer in which an airbag and inflators are mounted; and a protector cloth which covers folded bodies of the airbag. The retainer has first to fourth lateral side portions. The protector cloth has a first area which covers a left half side folded body and a second area which covers a right half side folded body. One ends and other ends of the first area and the second area are engaged by bolts, respectively. A slit is provided between the first area and the second area. A length from the one end of the first area to the other end is shorter than a length from the one end of the second area to the other end.

    摘要： [Object] To effectively reduce a noise generated during engaging operation of a tongue.[Solution] A slider 13 held in a non-locking position, at which the slider 13 does not lock a latch 9, turns together with the latch 9 and moves so as to enter a space between the latch 9 and the locking pin 10 during operation of the latch 9. A front end 13a of the slider 13 comes in contact with a front end 25a4 of a damper 24 before coming in contact with a stop 11f of an operation button 11, and the slider 13 moves while compressing a damper spring 26. As a result, the movement of the slider 13 is slowed down. When the front end 13a is in contact with the stop 11f, the slider 13 is positioned in a locking position, at which the slider 13 locks the latch 9 positioned in the latching position. The slider 13 that has been slowed down comes in contact with the stop 11f, reducing the noise generated when the tongue engages with the buckle 7.

The spool 2, the shaft 3, the locking base 4, the energy absorption device 5, and the load adjustment member 6 are serially connected.

The seatbelt retractor includes a frame, a seatbelt, a spool that takes up the seatbelt, the spool being rotatably supported by the frame, a lock mechanism that allows the spool to rotate in a non-activated state and restricts, upon being activated, the spool from rotating in the seatbelt withdrawal direction, and an energy absorption mechanism that limits the load applied to the seatbelt to thereby absorb and alleviate energy of the occupant, and the energy absorption mechanism includes a first torsion bar concentrically enclosed in the spool with one end portion retained by the spool and the other end portion disposed to be locked by the lock mechanism, and disposed to be rotated by torsional force, a second torsion bar eccentrically enclosed in the spool with one end portion 24a disposed to be locked by the lock mechanism, and disposed to be rotated by torsional force, and a moving member that rotates interlocked with the spool, and moves between the first position for retaining the other end portion of the second torsion bar and the second position spaced from the other end portion of the second torsion bar.
