摘要: Light projected from active lighting means or light projecting means toward an object is reflected by said object and a light spot is produced on a light sensitive element by the reflected light. A distance to said object is determined by sensing a position of said light spot. When a shade detector scanning the surface of the light sensitive element shields the light spot generated by the light reflected from the object, a photoelectric output from said light sensitive element is varied. Correspondence between the position of said shade detector when said photoelectric output is varied and a distance to said object enables a measurement of the distance to said object.

摘要: An alarm signaling time setting member is coupled to a minute indication drum having minute-scale alarm time graduations and an hour indication drum having hour-scale alarm signaling time graduations is intermittently advanced by the minute indication drum. First and second detection members for detecting the alarm signaling time are provided in correspondence to an hour time wheel and a minute time wheel respectively. The first detection member is geared to the second detection member, and the second detection member is geared to the minute indication drum to permit the detection member positions to be continuously set.

摘要: A focal plane shutter for a camera of the type wherein an image is viewed through the photographing lens by use of a viewfinder arranged on top of the camera body. The shutter blade mechanism comprises a group of opening blades and a group of closing blades, each group of blades consisting of a plurality of separate blades which are actuated to run in the vertical direction of the camera for exposing the film. The lower group of blades has a larger vertical dimension when in the retracted condition than the upper group of blades and such is achieved by using a different number or different size of blades in the two blade groups. In both groups, the slit-forming blades are mounted by means of a link mechanism to effect parallel running movement of the blades. The pivot shafts for mounting the slit-forming blades are disposed at a position outside of the region lying vertically below the viewfinder.

摘要: An automatic lens focusing mechanism including a displaceable operating member, a focusing mechanism cooperative with the operating member for changing the focus of a lens as the operating member is displaced, and a mechanism comprising a control member displaced by the operating member as the operating member is displaced. An electromagnet is effective to hold an armature when it is energized. When the electromagnet is not energized the armature is mounted for sliding across a face of the electromagnet adjacent and parallel to the electromagnet face. A focus detecting mechanism energizes the electromagnet when the control member is at a position corresponding to a focused condition of the lens for holding the armature and the control member at a position corresponding to the focused condition to thereby hold the lens at the focused condition.

摘要: A camera shutter equipped with a selftimer device has an interlocking member for coordinating the movement of the camera operating member and the selftimer device to obtain accurate operation of the shutter release member. The interlocking member has a first arm which engages with the operating member during movement thereof at the beginning portion of the shutter release motion and the operating member thereafter drives the interlocking member to a position in which the interlocking member actuates the selftimer device to initiate a timing operation. Near the end of the timing operation, the selftimer device engages with a second arm of the interlocking member and thereafter drives the interlocking member to another position during the course of which a translating lever mounted on the interlocking member actuates the shutter release member to initiate release of the shutter.

摘要: A camera shutter mechanism including an actuating lever for actuating the mechanism, a biasing spring biasing the actuating lever to operate, and a hook lever for releasably holding the actuating lever against the action of the biasing spring. The actuating lever includes a pin extending outwardly therefrom, and a resilient cylindrical bushing loosely fitting around the pin, with the pin positioned so that the spring bears against the bushing to push the bushing against the pin. The pin is positioned so that structure for returning the actuating lever from a rest position to a cocked position pushes against the bushing when returning the actuating lever.

摘要: A camera shutter control mechanism for controlling a shutter opening comprises an opening member movable in an opening direction for opening the shutter opening to start an exposure and a closing member movable in a closing direction for closing the shutter opening to terminate the exposure. Opening and closing pawls releasably lock the opening and closing members in their charged positions. An operating member actuates the opening pawl so as to release the opening member for movement in the opening direction and during the course of such movement, the opening member actuates an interlock lever which in turn actuates an adjustable fulcrum lever for actuating the closing pawl to release the closing member for movement in the closing direction. An exposure period setting member is arranged so as to adjust the operation of the fulcrum lever with respect to the closing pawl and for selectively effecting movement of the fulcrum lever to operative and inoperative positions. A control lever operates the closing pawl in the event the fulcrum lever is adjusted to a position in which it is unable to do so. The control lever is releasably locked in a charged position by an engagement pawl which releases locking engagement with the control lever upon movement of the opening member in the opening direction.
