摘要： A board assembly mounts in a panel opening of a television receiver and includes wire receptacles for receiving antenna leads as well as a cable connector for coupling to a source of cable signals. A tuner cable extending to the television tuner section is supported on the board and is connected to the terminals of the cable connector. A switch mounted on the board controls the connection of broadcast signals from the wire receptacles through a balun transformer to the tuner cable. Each wire receptacle includes a spring terminal crimped to a wire and inserted into a housing, and the housing includes a movable wire release portion. The switch includes a pair of terminals crimped to wires and having compressible contact portions sandwiched together in a housing. A movable switch operator opens and closes the contacts and is detented in one position by the contacts.

摘要： A connector housing includes discrete plastic housing parts held in assembled position by a locking structure including rib members on one housing part slidably received in slots formed by channel members on the other housing part. A locking tab connected by an integral hinge to the entrance end of each channel member is engaged by the rib entering the slot and is moved aside to permit entry of the rib. When the housing parts are fully assembled, the locking tab returns to its original position in order to retain the rib in the slot.

摘要： An electrical terminal comprises a U-shaped sheet metal body with the legs of the body being cut away to define shoulders for abutting the top surface of a printed circuit board. The bight of the U-shaped body also has an outwardly struck projection that engages the top surface of the printed circuit board to enhance stability of the terminal thereon. Below the detent the bight has a spring tongue for snap-locking against the bottom or printed wire side of the board. The trailing end of the body has a tapered free end and can be used as a wire wrapped terminal or may be inserted into a connector.

摘要： A tee connector is connected between adjacent end connectors of a pair of main circuit wiring harnesses in a modular wiring system to provide a branch circuit take off. The connector includes an insulating housing having coupling portions each engageable with one of the end connector housings, and further includes a plurality of conductive terminals engageable with terminals of the end connectors. The housing of the tee connector includes cavities containing the terminals, each cavity including a main passage extending between the coupling portions of the housing and a transversely extending branch passage. Each terminal includes a main body portion having electrical contact disposed at the ends thereof and a branch body portion including flanges crimpable about a branch circuit wire. The terminal includes stop means for holding itself in position in the insulating housing, and the housing includes a housing portion which is separable from the main housing in order to expose the inside of the terminal receiving cavities for mounting of the terminals.

摘要： An electrical connector has a series of terminals therein each with a tongue that projects from the connector, the tongue being soldered to a circuit board. The connector has depending ledges which support an edge portion of the circuit board remote from the soldered connection to resist rupture of the soldered connection upon bending of the circuit board. In another arrangement a circuit board has pin conductors and a lock wafer adjacent to the board and through which the pins project and are secured. The pins also are adapted to project into the connector for connection with the terminals. The lock wafer has a flexible lip that engages a shoulder on the connector to prevent separation of the circuit board and connector.

摘要： An electrical terminator assembly comprises a connector having a cavity open at the back side for receiving terminals each with opposed contact arms. The arms are adapted to receive therebetween conductors which project through holes that are cold-formed in the connector from the front side. The terminal also has a U-shaped central body portion joined to the arms and which seat on opposed lips in the connector to prevent retraction therefrom. The connector is an extruded plastic piece in which notches are sawed to receive stop wings on the terminal and in which grooves are sawed to receive module supports that interfit with the connector and provide opposed channels for receiving a circuit module. The module contains the conductors that project through the cold-formed holes in the terminal.
