    摘要: This invention relates to a gas tank handling attachment for a truck mounted forklift truck (TMFL) comprising a frame, a pair of clamping arms pivotably mounted on the frame, and a pair of pivoting rams mounted on the frame, operable to pivot the clamping arms to and from a stowed configuration and an operating configuration. The frame comprises a pair of spaced apart uprights bridged by a bracing cross-member, and there is provided, mounted on the frame, means to releasably engage a fork carriage. One of the clamping arms is mounted on one upright and the other clamping arm is mounted on the other upright. In the stowed configuration, the clamping arms are substantially parallel to and extend upwardly from the uprights, and in the operating configuration the clamping arms are substantially orthogonal to and project forwardly from the uprights. An operator can operate the attachment to engage/disengage a gas tank from inside the driver's station of the TMFL.

    摘要: This invention relates to a truck mounted forklift comprising a U-shaped chassis having a pair of side bars bridged by a rear crossbar. There is provided a driver's station, a motive power unit and a lifting mechanism on the chassis. There is further provided a skid steer drive mechanism comprising two driven front wheels and a dolly rear wheel. The dolly rear wheel is rotatably mounted about a vertical axis offset from a central axis of the dolly rear wheel, and there is a releasable locking mechanism to secure the dolly rear wheel in a fixed orientation about the vertical axis. The releasable locking mechanism comprises a hydraulically operated locking pin on the chassis and a locking pin receiver on the dolly rear wheel. The locking pin is operated by way of a locking pin actuator on a driver's console, and there is a locking pin indicator on the console to warn the operator of the locking pin configuration.

The electric wheel motor assemblies each comprise an interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor having a drive shaft, and a planetary gear box coupled to the IPM motor. The planetary gear box is mounted axially in-line with and is driven by the drive shaft. The IPM motor is mounted substantially internal the side bar and the planetary gear box is mounted substantially internal the bounds of the wheel rim. In this way, a very compact configuration of drive assembly for the front wheels is provided.

    摘要: This invention relates to an electronic engine management system and method for a truck mounted forklift (TMFL). The TMFL electronic engine management system (EEMS) comprises a processor and a memory having computer program instructions loaded thereon. The computer program instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the EEMS to (i) determine when the amount of particulate matter (PM) in the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is above a first predetermined level, PL1; (ii) latch the engine into a DPF regeneration mode, causing the engine to automatically enter DPF regeneration mode each time the engine is turned on until the PM level is below a first regenerated level, RL1; and (iii) unlatch the engine from DPF regeneration mode once the amount of PM in the DPF is below RL1. In this way, the majority of DPF regeneration will be carried out in an active level 2 regeneration mode, avoiding the likelihood of carrying out regeneration at higher regeneration levels.
