Abstract:
A circuit board electrical connector with a latch, includes an insulation housing (10) having a base section (11) with a slot (13) in which a plurality of contact elements (30) are arranged and a pair of side walls (12) extending laterally from opposite ends of the base section and having latch portions (18) at their free ends to latch a circuit board which is inserted into the slot and rotated to a latch position; and restriction portions (22, 22D) for preventing the latch portions from flexing in a direction other than a latch operation direction so that damage to the latch portions caused by excessive flexure in the directions is avoided.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of terminals having a plate shape to be attached to the housing in parallel with a narrow pitch. The plurality of the terminals has holes at opposing portions thereof in a pitch direction such that opposing areas between adjacent terminals is reduced. The housing has a groove bridging over the plurality of the terminals in the pitch direction such that a space is formed between the adjacent terminals.

Abstract:
A card edge connector to be surface-mounted on a circuit board having a plurality of conductors, which includes an insulation housing (100) having a base section (111) with a slot (112) for receiving a card edge on which a plurality of contact pads are provided; a plurality of bent-type contact elements arranged in the slot on at least one side (114) on which the connector is to be mounted on the circuit board; a plurality of movable arms (301) having contact points (307) for contact with the contact pads of the card; a plurality of fixing arms (303) having connection sections for connection to the conductors of the circuit boards and fixing sections (500) to be fixed to the insulation housing; a plurality of central arms (302) for connecting the movable arms and the fixing arms to form the substantially C-shaped, flexible contact elements; the connection sections of the fixing arms being at positions opposite to the central arms with respect to the fixing sections (500); and the contact points of the movable arms being at positions above the fixing sections or opposite to the central arms with respect to the fixing sections.
Abstract:
A connector is capable of fitting a plurality of mating connectors having various widths. The connector includes a housing including a plurality of fitting openings for receiving the mating connectors and a middle portion disposed between the fitting openings. The middle portion includes a sloped surface facing one of the fitting portions. The connector further includes an abutting portion disposed on the middle portion and protruding into the one of the fitting portions for abutting against one of the mating connectors when the one of the mating connectors is inserted into the one of the fitting portions.
Abstract:
A connector includes a housing, a housing cover for covering at least part of the housing, and a plurality of terminals arranged in the housing. The housing cover has a tongue portion extending in a direction perpendicular to the plugging direction. The side edge of the tongue portion is brought into close contact with the housing by means of cutting by the tongue portion.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes: a housing having a terminal supporting member and a space at a base portion of the terminal supporting member; a plurality of terminals attached to the housing and arranged on the terminal supporting member in parallel; a latch member arranged on the terminal supporting member in parallel to the terminals for locking a mating connector; and a housing cover attached to the housing for covering a part of the housing. The housing cover includes a cylindrical portion for covering the terminal supporting member and a base portion held in the space.
