摘要： This disk loading device is capable of reproducing a plurality of disks. A power transmission to drive gears is switched by tooth omission gears of a control gear so that angular movement of a disk playing portion, as well as movement of a tray base in a non-reproducing position and a reproducing position of the disk playing portion, can be effected by a single motor. A close lock gear, which prevents movement of the tray base in a disk reception stop positions, limits position of the drive gears. With this arrangement, when each tooth omission gear of the control gear enters the teeth of the corresponding drive gear, the interference of the teeth is eliminated. With this construction, the number of component parts such as a drive motor is reduced, thereby achieving a compact design and a stable operation.

摘要： The rotary motion of a driving cam driven by a driving motor is converted into both the upward and downward movement of a deck member and the forward and backward movement of a tray, so that the deck member and the tray can be driven by a single motor. Further, the conversion into the upward and downward movement of the deck member and the forward and backward movement of the tray is performed by the engagement of a pin of the driving cam with a straight groove and a circular groove of a driving lever. Since the straight groove is extended in the tangential direction of the driving cam, when the pin engages with the straight groove, the driving lever receive a force to slow down the opening and closing speed of the tray at the beginning and end of the movement, thereby improving the quality of the loading operation.

摘要： A disc changer for sequentially playing back a plurality of discs such as compact discs has a circular tray rotatably mounted on a base for supporting a plurality of discs replacably mounted on a horizontal surface. A drive mechanism rotates the tray and stops the tray to position one of the discs in a playback position. A recorded signal is reproduced from the disc in the playback position by a pickup. The pickup is vertically moved and stopped in a predetermined vertical position by a lifting/lowering mechanism. A pickup cover is disposed over the tray in covering relation to the pickup and the disc in the playback position. The disc changer also has a dust cover hinged to the base, for covering at least the tray, the dust cover having a transparent window extending over the tray.
