摘要： An object image creation device and method which combine images of the parts which compose an object into an object image. A storage stores data on a plurality of kinds of images for each of the parts which compose one half of an object. Any images are selected one from among a stored plurality of kinds of images of each of the parts. The selected images of the respective parts are combined into a first half object image. A second half object image symmetrical with the first half object image is produced on the basis of the first half object image. The first and second half object images are combined into a complete object image.

摘要： A printer is provided to improve the conveying accuracy of a Y-bar, thus improving printed image quality. The printer includes the Y-bar that extends in a first direction above a flatbed on which a medium is mounted, holds an ink droplet ejecting head unit so that the head unit is movable in the first direction, and is held so as to be movable with respect to the flatbed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The printer includes a drive mechanism that conveys the Y-bar in the second direction, a drive control device that carries out a drive control of the drive mechanism, and a measuring device that directly measures an amount of movement of the Y-bar with respect to the flatbed. The drive control device corrects controlled variables of the drive mechanism based on the amount of movement of the Y-bar measured by the measuring device.

摘要： A timepiece whose functions are controlled by making a voice instead of operating manual switches. Operating signals for functioning the timepiece, except for turning off of the alarm sound, are applied to a voice recognizing circuit. Operation of turning off of the alarm sound is performed by detecting a volume level of voice which is made by the user. Thus, it eliminates difficulty to recognize only the voice of the user while the alarm sound is generated because the voice of the user and the alarm sound are mixed together.
