Abstract:
A bin tray transferring apparatus of a sorter for copy machine. The apparatus comprises a safety guide 60 vertically mounted to the side plate 10, a safety lever 50 rotationally mounted to an upper inner portion of the rack 40 such that one end 52 thereof contacts with said safety guide 60 but the other end 53 thereof always contacts with an upper circumferential end of the transfer wheel 30 or a tray pin 91 of an uppermost bin tray 80, and a hinged connection for rotatably connecting the safety level 50 to the upper inner portion of the rack 40. The apparatus of this invention provides an advantage in that the pin trays can be stably transferred upwards and downwards irrespective of outside force imposed thereon so that one of the tray pins of the bin tray can be efficiently prevented from deviation, thereby accomplishing the lengthening of using life thereof and improving the operational reliability thereof.
Abstract:
A sheet post treatment apparatus implementing exact and reliable sheet alignment without the need for a separate driving source for the sheet aligning bar. The apparatus includes a rotation center shaft attached to a slot liner of a side plate; a wheel fixed into the rotation center shaft and formed with a spiral groove; an eccentric cam rotating attached to the rotation center shaft; an aligning rod and a rotation lever one end of the rotation lever being connected to the eccentric cam and the other end thereof being passed through said the plate, displaced to the extent of eccentricity level of the eccentric cam; and a restoration spring, one end thereof being fixed at the side plate and the other end thereof being hung up on one side of the rotation lever. Alternate embodiments include driving the rotation lever through a bevel arrangement, and providing a moving pin on the eccentric to drive the rotation lever.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a stapler operating device with a sheet discharging mechanism in a copy machine. The device includes a sheet discharging mechanism for feeding sheets which has a plurality of trays for accommodating the sheets, each of which has a guide slot for admitting a stapler into it in the horizontal plane, a stapler operating mechanism which has a sector gear arranged in the horizontal plane, on which the stapler is mounted, and a resilient means for forcing the sector gear to draw back to the original position, and a drive part for operating the sheet discharging mechanism and the stapler operating mechanism, which has a stepping motor for producing torque selectively in both positive and negative directions, and an one way clutch for disclutching the torque to the stapler operating mechanism when the motor produces the positive direction torque.
Abstract:
This invention provides a tray shifting type sorter comprising a number of trays having a couple of trunnions at the rear ends of both lateral sides, respectively and a couple of drive wheel assemblies oppositely installed on both side walls of the sorter. The drive wheel assembly includes a cam wheel shifting the trays and a supplementary wheel supporting the trays over the drive wheel assembly. The invention further provides a sheet jogging device for aligning the copy sheets with an alignment rod using a wire as the power transmission apparatus and equipped with tension change apparatus to loosen the wire, so that the drive apparatus is prevented from being overloaded by the continuous contact between the alignment rod and the copy sheets. The invention further provides a stapling device for stapling the aligned copy sheets, which uses the drive apparatus for a sheet discharging roller without a separate drive apparatus and is equipped with a power transmission apparatus which can transmit torque from the drive apparatus selectively only to the sector gear when stapling.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sheet post treatment apparatus aligning, within certain limits, discharged sheets received in said bin tray and drastically reduces the driving load of the motor, operating space and manufacturing costs through keeping the length of the aligning rod as short as possible for transferring sheets. The apparatus comprises a driving gear connected to a power driving motor and output gear engaged with said driving gear; transfer shaft equipped at one side of said bin tray; feed roller attached to said transfer shaft and comprised of multiple projections around the circumference thereof; flexible push rod contacted to said feed roller and formed with multiple guide holes at the central part thereof; receiving housing installed between said side plate and transfer shaft and formed with a receiving groove; aligning rod positioned in the slot part of said bin tray and one end part of said flexible push rod is inserted and fixed at one side thereof; and a light sensor for controlling the level of moving displacement of said flexible push rod.
Abstract:
A tray transferring device of sorter for copy machine comprising first and second slot liners each having an inclined middle portion, third and fourth slot liners formed on said opposite side plates of the sorter, first and second transfer wheels mounted at respective inclined middle portions of said first and second slot liners, power transferring means connected between said first and second transfer wheels, rack movement controlling means mounted at said opposite side plates, rack driving means each connected to said rack movement controlling means, a pair of racks each engaging with said rack driving means, a base pin extending between respective lowest portions of said first and second slot liners, tray supporting means fixedly connected to said opposite side plates. The present invention can provide a tray transferring device which can prevent the instantaneous increase of the load from a tray transferring device during the successive transferring of the bin trays so that the total load to be loaded to the tray transferring device may be reduced, thereby causing the bin tray to be smoothly transferred, and reduce the noise which may be generated from the intermittent and instantaneous movement of the bin tray, and also increase the transferring speed of the bin tray.
Abstract:
A transfer wheel of a sorter for transferring bin trays, each have a pair of pin trays, sequentially, comprises a transfer wheel body having three slots arranged at 120 degree angles around a central rotating shaft hole of the transfer wheel, and having a guide portion for guiding the pin trays of the bin tray. The transfer wheel also includes three pairs of insert wheels, each pair comprising two types of insert wheels mounted adjacent each other, between the slots in order to alternatively lift and push the pin tray to move the slot liner of a side plate. Further included is a mounting arrangement for mounting the insert wheels on the wheel body, and driving arrangement for rotating the wheel body. The invention provides a quiet transfer wheel which separates copies at every one-third rotation of the wheel, which causes an upper and a lower waiting pin tray to be positioned within the radius of rotation of the wheel. The invention uses either a rack style, a wire style, or a spring style device to support the bin tray.
