Abstract: A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The display device includes a liquid crystal cell, a first polarizer, a second polarizer, a backlight module, a first light shielding body and a second light shielding body. The liquid crystal cell includes a light transmissive area. The first polarizer is provided with a first opening. The second polarizer is provided with a second opening. The first light shielding body is disposed in the first opening. The second light shielding body is disposed in the second opening.
