摘要: A plasma display panel for adaptively reducing load effect and improving luminescence efficiency and discharge efficiency, and a driving method thereof. A plasma display panel includes a capacitive load; a source capacitor; a sustain voltage source to generate a sustain voltage; a first inductor formed on a first current path where a current flows from the capacitive load to the source capacitor; a second inductor formed on a second current path where a current flows from the source capacitor to the capacitive load; a switch configuration and switch control circuit that controls the switching operations of the switch configuration such that at least two discharges may occur during one sustain pulse cycle.

摘要: The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus, and more particularly, to a plasma display apparatus for preventing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). The plasma display apparatus of the present invention comprises a plasma display panel comprising an electrode, and at least one of a first capacitor connected between a sustain voltage source for supplying a sustain voltage to the electrodes and a first ground voltage source, a second capacitor connected between a scan voltage source for supplying a scan voltage to the electrodes and a second ground voltage source, and a third capacitor connected between a set-up voltage source for supplying a set-up voltage to the electrodes and a third ground voltage source.

摘要: A plasma display apparatus, and more particularly, a driving method and improved structure of a plasma display apparatus are provided. A sustain signal that alternates between a positive polarity and a negative polarity is supplied to only one electrode. Therefore, it can facilitate the adoption of an integrated driving board. Furthermore, a voltage magnitude of a set-up signal supplying in any one of the remaining sub-fields other than a first sub-field of a frame is less than the voltage magnitude of the set-up signal supplying in the first sub-field. It is therefore possible to increase the contrast.

摘要: A plasma display apparatus and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The plasma display apparatus includes a driver supplying a first signal and a second signal to a scan electrode during a reset period of at least one of a plurality of subfields of a frame. The first signal gradually rises from a first voltage to a second voltage with a first slope, and then falls from the second voltage to a third voltage with a second slope. The second signal rises from the third voltage to a fourth voltage, and then gradually rises from the fourth voltage to a fifth voltage with a third slope.
