Abstract: A backlight module and a liquid crystal display device are disclosed. The backlight module comprises a frame, which comprises a first extension part and a second extension part that are parallel to each other, and a connection part that is connected between the first extension part and the second extension part, wherein a light source is arranged on an inner side of the connection part; and wherein a quantum tube that can receive light from the light source is provided between an inner end of the first extension part and an inner end of the second extension part. According to the present disclosure, the quantum tube can be supported by the backlight module firmly, so that the quantum tube can be used in the liquid crystal display device.

Two sides and/or two ends of an optical diaphragm of the backlight module each are connected with a bendable flap which passes through the groove and is attached to the backplane. The backlight module has a simple structure without a plastic frame or a frame sealant, and an optical diaphragm in the backlight module can be fixed. A super narrow frame of the backlight module can be realized.

Abstract: The present invention provides a light guide plate and a backlight module. The light guide plate has a light incident surface that has an arc configuration. The light guide plate includes an upper surface and a lower surface that have sides that are adjacent to the light incident surface and are respectively provided with a first slope surface and the second slope surface, so that large angle light, after being subject to an effect of convergence with the arc light incident surface, is subjected to total internal reflection at the first slope surface and the second slope surface to have the light guided into the light guide plate. The light guided into the light guide plate, after transmission and reflection, projects out through a light exit surface thereby improving light utilization and increasing light coupling efficiency. Since the light guide plate having the above-described structure demonstrates an excellent effect of convergence for light of all angles, the light guide portion of the light guide plate can be structured thinner without deteriorating light coupling efficiency, thereby facilitating a design of thinning of a backlight module. The present invention provides a backlight module, which involves a light guide plate having the above-described unique structure, so that the backlight module has a reduced thickness and a bettered effect of light emission.

Abstract: Disclosed are a frame, a backlight module, and a liquid crystal display device. The frame has an accommodation space which is configured to accommodate a light guide plate, and one side of the frame is provided with a reflection positioning structure, which corresponds to a light incident side of the light guide plate. The reflection positioning structure has a plurality of LED placement grooves in which LEDs are placed, and an open end of each LED placement groove is located on one side of the frame parallel to the light guide plate. Each LED placement groove is provided with an LED light outlet hole on one side thereof near the light guide plate, and the reflection positioning structure is provided with a reflective layer on one side thereof near the light guide plate. The frame of the present disclosure can reflect light leaking from the light guide plate back to the light guide plate so as to increase the light utilization efficiency. The strength of the entire frame can be increased and the frame is not easy to deform, which facilitates positioning and installation of the light guide plate. The frame in the present disclosure is optimally applied in small and medium sized mobile phones and tablets, and a much better display effect can be obtained with respect to a light guide plate with a longer side thereof as a light incident side.
