    摘要: A fastening element comprises a first clamping element and a second clamping element rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation on the first clamping element. The first and second clamping elements each have a first or second lever section, which extends essentially perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and a first or second connecting section, which extend away from that essentially parallel to the axis of rotation. The first lever section and the second lever section are moveable relative to one another about an axis of rotation between a splayed lever position and a non-splayed lever position. The first clamping element and the second clamping element are configured to hold the article when the first lever section and the second lever section are located in the splayed lever position, and to not hold the article when they are located in the non-splayed lever position. The first and second clamping elements each comprise a first or second support section, which extends essentially perpendicular to the axis of rotation, is connected stationarily to the lever section, and extends at an obtuse angle to the lever section. The first support section and the second support section are located in a non-splayed support position when the first and second lever sections are located in the splayed lever position. The first and second support section are located in a splayed support position when the first and second lever sections are located in the non-splayed lever position.

    摘要: A height-adjustable piece of furniture includes a lower part, an upper part, an actuating device, first and second reference sections and a deformation sensor. Distance between the lower and upper parts can be adjusted by the actuating device. The deformation sensor is arranged to detect change between the first and second reference sections and is connected to the actuating device such that a signal of the deformation sensor can be transmitted to the actuating device. The actuating device is configured to stop the change in distance between the lower and upper parts if the signal transmitted by the deformation sensor corresponds to a change in distance that exceeds predefined threshold values. A cable protector is also provided for a cable to be mounted, and is coupled to the first and second reference sections such that tensile force acting on the cable causes change between the first and second reference sections.

    摘要: A height-adjustable frame for furniture, such as a worktable or desk, is disclosed. The frame includes first and second height-adjustable leg elements pivotable about first and second pivot axes between folded-out and folded-in positions. A rotatable shaft is arranged between the first and second leg elements to synchronously drive first and second height adjustment arrangements. The shaft includes a middle section and first and second end sections pivotable towards the middle section about respective first and second joint axes. A locking structure is included that locks the first and second leg elements in a folded-out position, when the first and second joint axes do not run approximately parallel to the first and second pivot axes, and that unlocks when the first and second joint axes run approximately parallel to the first and second pivot axes to permit the first and second leg elements to pivot into a folded-in position.
