Abstract: A monitoring platform may obtain information concerning a location of a node device on a wire and information concerning a location of an antenna of a customer premises equipment (CPE). The monitoring platform may cause, based on the information concerning the location of the node device and the information concerning the location of the antenna of the CPE, the node device to move from a first node device position to a second node device position on the wire. The monitoring platform may cause the node device and the CPE to communicate via a communication link.
