Abstract:
An object counting device includes an image capturer and a processor. The image capturer captures an image sequence related to a gate within a field of view. When an object in the image sequence passes through an entry/exit reference corresponding to the gate, the processor determines a moving direction of the object. When the processor determines that the object moves from a first side of the gate towards a second side of the gate, the processor counts the object into a first accumulated number. When the object exits from the field of view, the processor records an exit position of the object. The processor determines whether to count the object into a second accumulated number according to the exit position.
Abstract:
A verification method for people counting includes steps of displaying a people counting video by a display device, wherein the people counting video shows an entry and exit boundary and an accumulated number of persons; when at least one person exists in the people counting video, displaying an initial position and a current position of each of the at least one person by the display device; determining whether each of the at least one person passes across the entry and exit boundary according to the initial position and the current position of each of the at least one person by a user, so as to determine whether the accumulated number of persons is incorrect; and when the user determines that the accumulated number of persons is incorrect, receiving a modified number of persons from the user by an input device.

Abstract:
A method for transmitting and displaying an object tracking information includes steps of capturing an image by a camera, wherein an object exists in the image; analyzing the image by the camera to obtain a 3D world coordinate information of the object; transmitting a projection matrix and the 3D world coordinate information to a display device by the camera; using the projection matrix to convert the 3D world coordinate information into a 2D image coordinate information by the display device; and displaying a pattern corresponding to the object according to the 2D image coordinate information by the display device.

Abstract:
An automatic calibration system applied to a camera and a related automatic calibration method are disclosed. The automatic calibration method utilizes a motionless calibration plate to calculate a calibration parameter of the camera, the camera includes at least one image sensing unit, and the camera is assembled with a testing device. The automatic calibration method includes rotating the camera by a first shaft and a second shaft of the testing device to change an angle of the at least one image sensing unit of the camera toward the calibration plate, capturing a plurality of images containing the calibration plate by the camera while rotating, calculating the calibration parameter of the camera according to the images, and storing the calibration parameter.
