摘要: The invention provides a method for managing image data in a motor vehicle lighting system, the lighting system including at least one lighting module intended to project light beams, the light beams being generated from data relating to the selection of at least one image, each image being respectively defined by a matrix including a plurality of horizontal or vertical rows of pixels, with each pixel having a numerical value related to a light intensity of the pixel. The method includes determining whether the pixel under analysis is considered to be a significant point of inflection of the image, so as to transmit it to at least one lighting module, so that it is able to project a resulting image.

摘要: The invention provides a method for managing image data in an automotive lighting device. This method includes providing a first image pattern, which is sent to a light module, and a second image pattern. A difference pattern is generated by subtracting the second image pattern from the first image pattern and this difference pattern is sent to the light module, so the light module is able to reconstruct the second image pattern from the data of the first image pattern and the difference pattern. The invention also provides an automotive lighting device configured for the method.

The method includes receiving an instruction to trigger at least one lighting function to be generated by the at least one lighting module. Comparing the determined data rate level with a data rate threshold value of the multiplexed bus. Compressing the image data of the lighting function according to: the first frequency when the determined data rate level is lower than or equal to the data rate threshold value and according to a second frequency selected within the frequency range such that the second frequency is lower than the first frequency when the determined data rate level is greater than the data rate threshold value.

摘要: A method for managing image data in an automotive lighting device includes the steps of providing an image pattern, dividing the image pattern in rows or columns of pixels, and calculating a first gradient value related to the relation between the numeric value of a first pixel and the numeric value of an adjacent pixel. Also included is checking, for each pixel, if the difference between the corresponding gradient value and the first gradient fulfills one of a first or second condition, defining linear segments, compressing the data of the linear segments and sending the compressed data to the light module. The invention also provides an automotive lighting device for performing the steps of such a method.

摘要: A method for correcting a first light pattern provided by a lighting device with a matrix of light sources. The method includes steps of providing some resolution data of the light sources, simulating a test map of the light pattern using the resolution data, and simulating distortion maps of the test map. Each distortion map is associated to a distortion factor. Also included is obtaining a real distorted light pattern, comparing the real distorted light pattern with the distortion maps, finding a distortion map which is the most similar to the real distorted map and applying a correction factor to correct the real distorted light pattern, thus obtaining a corrected light pattern. The correction factor is related to the distortion factor of the distortion map which is the most similar to the real distorted map.
