摘要： A connector comprises a housing and a plurality of contacts retained in the housing. Each of the contacts extends in a longitudinal direction and has a retained portion, a contacting portion disposed in front of the retained portion in the longitudinal direction, and a connecting portion disposed behind the retained portion in the longitudinal direction. Each of the contacting portion and the connecting portion are shifted with respect to the retained portion in a vertical direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The housing is in contact with the retained portion of each of the contacts from both above and below in the vertical direction and from both right and left in a lateral direction perpendicular to the vertical direction and the longitudinal direction.

摘要： A connector includes a housing and a contact elongated in a frontward and rearward direction. The contact has a fixed portion fixed to the housing in a middle in the frontward and rearward direction, a first contact portion formed in a front end portion for coming into contact with a first circuit board, a second contact portion formed in a rear end portion for coming into contact with a second circuit board, and a deflective portion formed between the fixed portion and the second contact portion. The deflective portion is adapted to deflect when the second contact portion receives a force from the second circuit board.

摘要： A connector comprises a daughterboard and a metallic shell. The daughterboard has a first edge with first connection pads and a second edge with second connection pads. The first edge is inserted into an on-board connector including first contacts. The on-board connector is mounted on a motherboard and each of the first connection pads is connected to one of the first contacts. The metallic shell has side plates each facing and extending along one of a front board face and a back board face of the daughterboard. Each of the side plates has a base spaced apart from the front board face or the back board face and a retaining portion protruding inward from the base. The retaining portion retains the front board face or a back board face of the daughterboard and has an opening formed around the retaining portion extending through the metallic shell.
