Abstract: A method of sharing information about an object or a condition on a road includes receiving, by a server from a first autonomous vehicle, a message comprising a first data structure that includes information about a driving condition on a road; and transmitting, by the server to a second autonomous vehicle, a second data structure that includes information about the driving condition on the road, where the second data structure is transmitted in response to determining that a location of the driving condition is related to a trajectory on which the second autonomous vehicle is operating or is expected to drive, where the second data structure is transmitted to the second autonomous vehicle before the second autonomous vehicle reaches the location of the driving condition, and where the server is located in a fixed location outside of the first autonomous vehicle and the second autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for displaying a map for a user. A method of displaying a map for a user comprises: receiving, from a user device, a request to display the map for a geographical region around a vehicle, wherein the request identifies one or more layers of the map; retrieving, in response to the request, map data corresponding to the geographical region from a map database that stores a multi-layer representation of the geographical region; selecting, in response to the request, the one or more layers from the multi-layer representation; and displaying the map on a display of the user device based on the request.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems of maintaining a map suitable for guiding autonomous driving. In some embodiments, the method may include receiving a sensor dataset acquired by a sensor subsystem, wherein: the sensor dataset includes information about a road, the sensor subsystem comprises multiple different types of sensors; determining, by a processor, a confidence level by comparing the sensor dataset and the map that includes prior information about the road; in response to determining that the confidence level exceeds a confidence threshold, processing the map by the processor; and storing the processed map as an electronic file, wherein the processed map is configured to guide an autonomous vehicle to operate on the road.
