Abstract:
A holder for small articles of the invention is provided in a ceiling of an automobile. The holder is formed of a frame member fixed to the ceiling in a cabin of the automobile, and a movable member including a rotating shaft pivotally attached to the frame member, a lid portion for opening and closing an opening of the frame member, and a case portion provided at a rear side of the lid portion. When the lid portion is opened, an opening of the case portion is exposed in the cabin. A stopper projection is formed at a back portion of the case portion and has a projecting edge for defining an open position of the lid portion by engaging the frame member. The projecting edge is located on an imaginary circumferential line having a radius substantially equal to a length from a center of the rotating shaft to the opening edge of the lid portion.
Abstract:
A fastening device of the invention is formed of two fastening members. Each fastening member has a flat base portion, and a plurality of engaging projections fixed on the base portion laterally and vertically. Each engaging projection has at least one leg fixed to the base portion at one side and an engaging head portion fixed to the other side of the leg. The engaging head portion has a lateral size greater than that of the leg. Non-engaging projections are integrally formed on at least one of the fastening members. Each non-engaging projection has a height less than the engaging projection. In case the two fastening members are engaged, when one engaging projection projecting toward one non-engaging projection is pushed laterally by another engaging projection situated adjacent to the one non-engaging projection, an engaging head portion of the one engaging projection is pushed toward the one non-engaging projection and then is returned to an original portion by the one non-engaging projection to thereby engage the engaging head portions of the one and another engaging projections. Thus, the fastening members can be easily fastened and separated repeatedly.
Abstract:
A clip for mounting a weatherstrip between an end side of a window and a window frame includes: a weatherstrip side member having arms for engaging the weatherstrip and tabular engagement pieces extending from a base portion of the arms; and a window frame side member including box-shape holding portions for allowing the tabular engagement pieces to slide therein and an attachment device, i.e. T stud attachment portion and a double-sided tape, for attaching to the window frame. An engagement device is provided between the engagement pieces and the holding portions, and is formed of claws provided on one of the engagement pieces and holding portions and holes provided on the other. The weatherstrip side member and the window frame side member can be separately formed, and easily combined.
Abstract:
A storage device is provided with a sliding lid slidably contacting guide rails formed at both side ends of an opening of the storage device, and when the sliding lid is stored in an accommodating section formed continuously to a rear end of the opening, the sliding lid opens at the storage device. In the storage device, in sliding sections where the guide rails and sliding lid slidably contact each other, there are formed buffer sections for allowing the sliding lid to be displaced toward a direction orthogonal to a sliding direction. Therefore, the buffer sections are deformed during the opening and covering movements, so a play can be eliminated.
Abstract:
A clip comprising a female member and a male member, with the female member having a plurality of resilient divisions, with the end of each division pressing radially inwardly, and in which the male member has a head portion that radially outwardly flexes said divisions, a small diameter portion integrally associated to the rear of the head portion that does not radially outwardly flex the divisions, and a large diameter portion integrally associated to the rear of the small diameter portion that can engage with the ends of the divisions to thereby hold the divisions in a radially outwardly flexed state, and the small diameter portion is also provided with ribs which can be received in the dividing slits used to form the divisions in the female member. As the insertion of the head portion proceeds, a cam surface on a cutaway portion formed on the head portion enables the projections of the divisions to be guided into position on the side of the ribs, whereby the ribs can be located in the slits by slightly rotating the male or female member.
