    Abstract: Systems for securing shoes to the feet utilizing a one pull fit adjustment set of straps. The embodiments each utilize a number of straps, some fixed and some variable in length, positioned at select points across and around the top and sides of the shoe. At least one strap in the system provides an adjustable length whereby all straps may be drawn together to create a fit that tightens the shoe, preferably in both a horizontal and a vertical direction across the profile of the shoe. The systems use a variety of strong, but lightweight, nylon buckles, strips, anchor loops, and combinations thereof to permit the attachment and motion of the adjustment straps over the top and sides of the shoe. Three-point, as well as two-point attachment embodiments, most with a one pull adjustment are described. The systems are preferably on the medial side of the shoe.

    Abstract: A system of attachment surface structures that find their best use in the form of repeatedly removable straps and bands for securing one object to another. The surfaces are preferably constructed of narrow sheets of flexible polymer plastic materials having generally high tensile strength. A first embodiment includes shaped parallel ridges on one surface that interlock with mating parallel ridges on an opposing surface. These parallel ridges may be double sided (interlocking on both sides of each shaped ridge with the next shaped ridge on either side) or single sided (interlocking with a single ridge oriented 180 degrees from the first). Further embodiments include an array of shaped posts of various regular geometric shapes that interlock with an opposing array of similar or distinct posts.

    Abstract: A structured cover that is placed on an automobile's dashboard (and/or the rear window shelf) and provided with a quantity of water, or other suitable liquid, that on heating will evaporate into the interior air of the vehicle. The device includes a water impermeable layer that lays against and partially covers the top surface of the dashboard and/or rear shelf and a water wicking layer over the impermeable layer that may be saturated with water (on a repeated basis as necessary) and serve as a reservoir for the evaporative process to be carried out. The multilayered surface may be manually refilled with water (or other suitable liquid) from a hand held container or may be automatically refilled from reservoirs structured in fluid connection to the evaporative surface.
