Abstract: This invention relates to consumer products comprising proteases, particularly cold water proteases and processes for making and using such products. Such consumer products provide improved cleaning, whiteness and/or freshness. Such proteases are derived from a parent enzyme, for example Bacillus lentus, by substitution, insertion and/or deletion of one or more of the parent enzymes' amino acids.
