摘要: A sensor device is described that includes a dry electrode, a pressure sensor, and a communication apparatus. The dry electrode is configured to be placed adjacent to a belly of a pregnant patient. The pressure sensor is coupled to the dry electrode to sense pressure within the belly. The sensed pressure indicates counts of physiological activities of a fetus within the pregnant patient over a period of time. The communication apparatus is coupled to the pressure sensor and the dry electrode. The communication apparatus is configured to transmit data characterizing the counts of the plurality of physiological activities to a cloud computing server for generating an assessment of health of the fetus.

摘要: A mattress assembly includes: multiple gas-filled chambers each having a top surface, the top surfaces of the chambers collectively composing a top surface of the mattress assembly; multiple composite sensors each associated with a corresponding chamber. Each composite sensor includes a pressure sensor to measure a pressure at a wall of the corresponding chamber and a temperature sensor to measure a temperature of the corresponding chamber. The assembly includes chamber regulators each in communication with a corresponding chamber, each regulator configured to pump gas at a first, higher temperature and gas at a second temperature to the corresponding chamber. The assembly includes a controller in communication with the composite sensors and chamber regulators, programmed to: receive, from composite sensor(s), state data including pressure and temperature information for the chamber corresponding to the composite sensor; determine, based upon the received state data, information about a patient's position relative to the corresponding chamber; and based on the patient's position, control the chamber regulator for the chamber to modify a pressure and/or a temperature of the chamber.

摘要: A resuscitation device is described that can include an electronic circuit board, a shaft that is operably coupled with the electronic circuit board and has a head, a gas-bag adjacent to the head and configured to store gas, and a valve operably coupled to the gas-bag. The electronic circuit board can actuate the shaft to move. The moving of the shaft can cause the head to compress the gas-bag. The compression of the gas-bag can cause the gas-bag to release gas. 摘要: A method for monitoring a flowrate of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in a ventriculo-peritoneal (VP) shunt implanted in a human patient includes: (i) receiving, at a device external to the human patient, data sensed by a plurality of sensors within the device and positioned relative to the VP shunt to drain excess cerebrospinal fluid from the human patient's brain; (2) determining, by the device and based on the sensed data, a rate of flow of the CSF in the VP shunt; and (3) transmitting (e.g., wirelessly), by the device, data indicating the rate of flow to a computing server.
