摘要： An apparatus for producing a polymer pellet is provided. The apparatus includes a conveying mechanism configured to convey a coated polymer, a supporting mechanism configured to support the coated polymer, a supporting plate having a deforming and cutting mechanism configured to deform and cut the coated polymer, a reciprocating mechanism configured to reciprocate the supporting plate upwardly and downwardly, and a collector configured to collect cut pellets. The reciprocating mechanism holds the supporting plate so that the deforming and cutting mechanism faces the coated polymer.

摘要： A first identification number obtained by performing character recognition of each of a plurality of digits of an identification number and allocating predetermined characters to digits where characters cannot be determined and a second identification number representing an identification number that is the target of character recognition processing or search processing are compared with each other by calculating a matching ratio between the two numbers. When the matching ratio is lower than a predetermined reference value, a shifted identification number obtained by shifting each character forming the first identification number one digit in a predetermined direction and the second identification number are compared with each other by calculating a matching ratio between the two numbers. If this matching ratio is equal to or higher than the predetermined reference value, subsequent processing is continued, so that the shifted identification number is treated as the first identification number.

摘要： In a video display device for use in presentation, a display state on computer display screen of an application software program used in the presentation is detected. When it is detected that the application software is in a maximized display state, a video image is projected from a video display device; upon detection of any other states, a user's designated video non-display state is set up. An objective of using this arrangement is to automatically switch it to disappearance of a display image of the video display device or to displaying of an alternative image, thereby to improve the user's usability relating to non-display of a desktop image which can contain therein unexpected important information.
