Abstract:
In a through anchor (10), a guide piece (24) is molded in an area around a through hole (16) in an anchor plate (12), webbing (30) is inserted through an insertion hole (26) in the guide piece (24) in such a way that the webbing is movable along a lengthwise direction, and the webbing (30) is slidably supported on a sliding surface (28) of the guide piece (24). Here, the guide piece (24) is placed only on the whole circumference of the through hole (16) in the anchor plate (12) and allows an entire outer peripheral end surface (12C) of the anchor plate (12) to be exposed. For this reason, the use amount of molding resin of the guide piece (24), which is molded from a relatively high-grade resin, and the cost of the through anchor (10) can be reduced.
Abstract:
A seat belt anchorage plate for a seat belt device formed with a plate shaped member (base) 2 is provided with a slot 6 into which a belt (waist belt) 13 is inserted and which has long edge parts opposed with each other. The belt 13 is folded back along the one long edge part 691 of the opposed long edge parts in the slot 6 so that the one long edge part 691 bears the tension of the belt 13. The one long edge part 691 is formed so as to expand in the direction opposite to that of the tension of the belt 13 toward a central part from both ends in its longitudinal direction.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a cross coil having a first coil winding for generating a first magnetic field when an electrical current flows therethrough and a second coil winding for generating a second magnetic field when an electrical current flows therethrough, and the second coil winding being wound so as to cross the first coil winding to each other. The cross coil comprises a mechanism for equalizing the magnitude of each of the first and second magnetic fields generated when identical electrical currents flows through each of the coil windings. The equalizing mechanism comprises the arrangement of the turns of the windings in which the individual turns are alternately wound on top of the turns for the other winding.
Abstract:
In a cross coil type indicator having a pair of cross coils arranged in quadrature, a magnet rotor having a shaft and a pointer attached to the shaft and rotatably positioned within the coils, the pointer is positioned to indicated a variable by flowing pulse currents through the coils in which the duty ratio is related to the variable value. Digital data corresponding to the pointer angle is stored as sin .THETA. or cos .THETA. data in a read only memory to enable simple calculation of pointer position from the duty ratio of the current pulse. A stop pin is provided to limit rotation of the pointer at the end of the scale; a circuit is provided for determining when the pointer is adjacent to the pin or will be driven against the stop pin, and the drive currents are modified in response to such conditions to reduce repetitive striking of the pin by the pointer and to minimize the force with which the pointer is driven against the pin at the stop pin end of the scale.

Abstract:
An agitated bed operation in production of trichlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride from metallic silicon or metallic-silicon-containing solid materials and hydrogen chloride is disclosed. In the new agitated bed operation in a tower type reactor, defects and disadvantages of the conventional fixed bed operation and conventional fluidized bed operation are eliminated.
Abstract:
An electric telescopic steering apparatus includes a jacket having a lower jacket and an upper jacket in order to telescope the jacket; and a screw shaft arranged along a longitudinal direction of the jacket and held under a rotation-locked state. The screw shaft includes one end portion supported by one of the lower jacket and the upper jacket. The electric telescopic steering apparatus further includes a nut screwed on another end portion of the screw shaft and supported by another of the lower jacket and the upper jacket; a driving section configured to drive a rotation of the nut; and a displacement absorbing section provided between the one end portion of the screw shaft and the jacket. The displacement absorbing section is configured to permit the one end portion of the screw shaft to be displaced on an X-Y plane defined by an imaginary X-axis and an imaginary Y-axis which are substantially perpendicular to an axis of the screw shaft, and configured to permit an angle of the axis of the screw shaft to vary about the X-axis and the Y-axis.
Abstract:
A steering apparatus for a vehicle capable of executing a steer-by-wire (SBW) mode of steering road wheels by a steering mechanism mechanically disconnected with a steering device. The steering apparatus includes a clutch which is composed of a shaft that rotates together with the steering device, an internal gear ring which has a rotation center coinciding with that of the shaft and transmits its rotation to the steering mechanism, an external gear ring partially intermeshed with the internal gear ring, lock members which transmit/disconnect the rotation of the shaft to the external gear, and a lock operating member for displacing the lock members to lock/unlock positions.
Abstract:
In a tongue used in a seat belt system, a tongue main body 25 including a belt insertion hole 23 in which to insert a seat belt 3 is provided with an insertion part 27 in a projecting manner. The insertion part 27 is capable of being inserted in a buckle in the seat belt system, and includes a lock hole 27a to which a lock piece included in the buckle is capable of being locked. A front surface of the insertion part 27 is formed into a concave and convex surface by being provided with multiple convex parts 29 or multiple concave parts. The convex parts 29 or the concave parts included in a rear surface of the tongue are formed corresponding to the convex parts 29 or the concave parts included in the front surface. A height of each convex part 29 from a reference position or a depth of each concave part from the reference position is 0.01 mm to 0.10 mm.
Abstract:
A seat belt hanging and holding member of the present invention is capable of reducing manufacturing cost by reducing the material cost required for a coating member while improving safety. The seat belt hanging and holding member 10 slidably hangs and holds a seat belt by folding back an intermediate part of the seat belt (waving belt) 74. The member 10 comprises a base member, 20 made of a metal plate having a slot 22 and a coating member 30 made of a synthetic resin which covers at least the periphery of the slot 22 of the base member 20 and is provided with a seat belt-inserting hole 31 on a part corresponding to the slot 22. The slot 22 is provided with an edge part 22a corresponding to at least the part on which the seat belt 74 is folded back, which is formed in a smoothly curved surface along the direction in which the seat belt 74 is folded back.
