Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for optimizing streaming content are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of determining that a user device participating in a content streaming service will transition from a first wireless service coverage area to a second wireless service coverage area that provides a lower quality wireless service relative to the first wireless service coverage area. The actions further include, prior to the user device transitioning from the first wireless service coverage area to the second wireless service coverage area, increasing a resource associated with the content streaming service and the user device. The actions further include, after the user device transitions from the first wireless service coverage area to the second wireless service coverage area, decreasing the resource associated with the content streaming service and the user device.

Abstract: A universal subscription platform may determine whether information for one or more third-party services or one or more third-party media content files are to be presented via the common ordering interface portal based at least on a network subscription plan of a user with a wireless carrier network. In response to the network subscription plan being a first subscription plan, the universal subscription platform may provide the information on the one or more third-party services for presentation via the common ordering interface portal. In response to the network subscription plan being a second subscription plan, the universal subscription platform may provide the information on the one or more third-party media content files for presentation via the common ordering interface portal.

Abstract: A content delivery platform may deliver program content segments and advertising content segments to multiple user devices. The content delivery platform may deliver a program content segment to a primary user device of a user for presentation on the primary user device. The advertising content segment is provided by an advertiser that is sponsoring the presentation of the program content segment on the primary user device.
