Abstract: The present document describes a method of producing sulfur particles by injecting an unbroken stream of molten sulfur under a pulsation free pressure, from a distance, into tempered water moving at a velocity, to produce a physical reaction of said molten sulfur with said tempered water to produce sulfur particles. Also described are sulfur particles produced by the process and methods of using the same for fertilizing soil.
