Abstract: Disclosed herein is a posture control system containing a posture control unit that changes a direction of a user's body and a display unit mounted on a user's head. The posture control system includes: a posture data acquiring unit configured to acquire posture data indicating the direction of the user's body; a motion sensor data acquiring unit configured to acquire motion sensor data indicating a direction of a user's face in a real space which is detected by a motion sensor; a camera image data acquiring unit configured to acquire camera image data indicating the face direction with reference to the direction of the user's body which is specified based on a camera image; and a face direction specifying unit configured to specify the direction of the user's face based on the posture data, the motion sensor data, and the camera image data.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus connected to a display apparatus mounted on a head of a user acquires information regarding a line-of-sight direction of the user and determines a field of view of the user in a virtual three-dimensional space in either a first mode in which the field of view of the user in the virtual three-dimensional space is determined in accordance with the acquired information regarding the line-of-sight information or a second mode in which the field of view of the user in the virtual three-dimensional space is determined without using the information regarding the line-of-sight direction at least in a predetermined direction among the acquired information regarding the line-of-sight direction, and generates an image of an object in the determined field of view to be output.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a data collection section, a relation learning section, and a map generation section. The data collection section collects a feature quantity of a physical movement of a user and situation information indicating a situation of the user when the physical movement is made. The relation learning section creates a learned model for classification of the feature quantity of the physical movement according to the situation information, by learning a relation between the feature quantity of the physical movement and the situation information. The map generation section generates, on the basis of the learned model, a map that is capable of associating the situation information with the feature quantity of the physical movement.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a line-of-sight detection apparatus connected to a brain-wave measurement apparatus configured to measure brain waves of a user, a pupil observation apparatus configured to observe a pupil of the user, and a display apparatus. The line-of-sight detection apparatus includes: an attention position identification block configured to identify, by use of measurement results by the brain-wave measurement apparatus obtained when a video having a predetermined pattern is displayed on a screen of the display apparatus, a position of attention of the user inside the screen; and a correlation identification block configured to identify a correlation between a line-of-sight direction of the user and a position inside the screen by use of observation results by the pupil observation apparatus obtained when the attention position is identified and the identified attention position.
