Abstract: A head-mounted display that displays an image representing appearance obtained when an object is viewed from a point of view disposed in a virtual three-dimensional space, includes a detecting section that detects rotation of the head-mounted display and a display control section that carries out control to cause displaying of an image representing appearance obtained when the object is viewed from the point of view that has relatively revolved in the direction of the detected rotation while the position of a point of gaze is kept in response to the detection of the rotation by the detecting section.
