Provided is an information processing apparatus used for program development. The information processing apparatus includes: a holding unit that holds a behavior verification scenario that defines the order of operation to be invoked; and an evaluation unit that compares operation that the program sequentially invokes with the behavior verification scenario to perform evaluation or verification of the program. The program execution control unit drives the program according to environment information input from the outside, the evaluation unit compares operation sequentially invoked by the program execution control unit according to the environment information with an order of operation defined in the behavior verification scenario to evaluate or verify the program.

A structure for measuring a distance on the basis of the principle of triangulation is simplified. A distance measuring module includes a diffractive optical element, an imaging element, and a distance measuring unit. The diffractive optical element emits a predetermined number of line light beams. The imaging element images the line light beams with which the subject is irradiated. The measuring unit measures a distance from the subject by using triangulation on the basis of the imaged line light beams. Thus, by imaging the line light beams emitted via the diffractive optical element, the distance from the subject is measured with a simple structure.

Provided is a technique capable of specifying equipment to be operated even in a case where the operation target to be designated is ambiguous in the operation of equipment by a user. An information processing apparatus includes: an operation information acquisition unit that acquires operation information as sound data indicating an operation by a sound of a user or image data indicating an operation by behavior of the user; an instruction recognition unit that analyzes the sound data or image data as the operation information, recognizes an instruction content indicated by the operation, and specifies controlled equipment that is an operation target; and an instruction transmission unit that generates a control signal according to the instruction content recognized by the instruction recognition unit and transmits the control signal to the controlled equipment specified by the instruction recognition unit.

The present disclosure relates to a surgical system, a surgical device, and a surgical method with which startup time can be shortened.Upon receipt of an instruction from a startup execution process, a high-speed startup driver creates a high-speed startup image and writes it to an SSD. The startup execution process is a process that is executed first after an OS is started up, and has the function of executing, in cooperation with the high-speed startup driver, startup of various processes in an endoscope program, creation of a high-speed startup image, and return from the high-speed startup image. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a surgical system provided with an imaging device including an endoscope or a microscope.
