摘要: A system for generating medical image scanner configurations includes a scanner configuration database and a simulation component. The database stores a scanner configuration dataset corresponding to a medical image scanner. The simulation component includes a display module which is configured to present a graphical user interface (GUI) utilized by the medical image scanner, and an editing module which is configured to create a modified scanner configuration dataset based on commands received from a user via the GUI. Additionally, the simulation component includes a simulation module which is configured to (i) perform a simulation of the medical image scanner using the modified scanner configuration dataset to yield simulated results, (ii) use the display module to present the simulated results in the GUI, and (iii) in response to receiving user approval of the simulated results via the GUI, save the modified scanner configuration dataset to the database.

摘要: In a method for using a medical instrument, in particular a medical imaging device, the medical instrument is selectively operable in a first mode giving access to the medical instrument and in a second mode giving limited access, in particular refusing access, to the medical instrument. When access to the medical instrument is requested, by using a human-machine-interface of the medical instrument, i.e. in an attended mode, the medical instrument is transferred into the first mode or into the second mode in response to the request. The medical instrument is also transferred into the first mode by using a second human-machine interface at a remote site, when the first human-machine-interface of the medical instrument is inactive for a defined period of time, in particular after requesting the access, i.e. in an unattended mode.

摘要: A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system includes an internet protocol (IP) communication system for communicating IP-based communication data, an audio/video output, and an audio/video source. The MRI system also includes an audio/video/IP gateway device with multiple non-IP interfaces operable to receive and output audio/video data. The non-IP interfaces use non-IP protocols, while an IP interface connected to the communication system uses a predefined audio/video IP protocol. A controller is operable to convert received audio/video data between the non-IP and IP protocols, output converted audio/video data via the IP interface in IP protocol, and output converted audio/video data via the non-IP interfaces using the corresponding non-IP protocol.
