摘要： Provided is a production line which allows easy interchange of and maintenance on production devices and which is compact with a short line length. Split bases 3 for respective production devices 2 arranged in a production line are formed in a uniform unit module width W, and the production devices 2 are connected to each other. A machine 4 on each split base 3 is drawn out forwards under the guide of a movement guide 8 for maintenance operation, or is interchanged with another machine 4. During the maintenance operation on or interchange of the machines 4, the machine 4 drawn out, and a control device 5 and fluid supply devices 6 and 7 are placed onto a caster-equipped cart to undergo maintenance operation on the caster-equipped cart or to be carried to another location.

摘要： A chuck spindle apparatus comprises a chuck spindle mounted for rotation about a central rotational axis, a chuck main body integrally connected to a forward end of the chuck spindle for rotation therewith, and an indexing device. The chuck main body has a chuck portion for bringing any one of a series of fabrication centers of a workpiece into coincidence with the central rotational axis to thereby chuck the workpiece. The indexing device is disposed within the chuck main body for moving the chuck portion of the chuck main body to bring another one of the fabrication centers of the workpiece into coincidence with the central rotational axis while the workpiece is chucked by the chuck portion of the chuck main body.

摘要： A production line comprises production devices arranged in a line for machining a workpiece by conveyance of the workpiece successively to the production devices. Each of the production devices has a machine for machining the workpiece, an individual base for supporting the machine, a mounting unit that removably integrally mounts the machine on a surface of the individual base, and a positioning/moving unit that positions the machine on the surface of the individual base and that facilitates sliding movement of the machine along the surface of the individual base to permit the machine to be slidingly drawn of f of the surface of the individual base when the machine is not mounted on the surface of the individual base by the mounting unit. The line unit also comprises a maintenance stand onto which the machine slidingly drawn off of the surface of the individual base is placed for transportation away from the production line and/or for undergoing a maintenance operation.

摘要： A table feeder apparatus comprises a base, a feed screw rotatably supported on the base and a motor for rotating the feed screw about a feed axis. A feed nut is mounted on the feed screw and a block is mounted integrally with the feed nut. A table is disposed on the block for movement along the feed axis. In one aspect, a slide mechanism is disposed between the block and the table. The slide mechanism is slidable in at least one of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction transverse to the feed axis. During movement of the table, the slide mechanism slides to absorb a force applied to the feed nut, tending to displace the block and table in a direction transverse to the feed axis, to prevent the applied force from being transmitted to the table. In another aspect, the table is provided with an opening in which a table portion is removably fitted. Removal of the table portion facilitates maintenance of the slide mechanism without requiring the entire table feeder structure to be dismantled.
