Abstract: An optical film and a backlight unit having the same are disclosed. The optical film includes a base film and a first prism disposed on the base film, the first prism having a first peak height and a second prism disposed on the base film, the second prism having a second peak height. A difference between the first peak height and the second peak height is substantially 1 μm to 10 μm.
