Abstract: A human body detection device detects whether a human body is present within a predetermined distance from an apparatus equipped with the human body detection device. The device includes a sensor, a threshold processing unit, and a sensor control unit. The sensor is configured to sense infrared to sequentially output a plurality of detection values. The threshold processing unit is configured to perform averaging and weighted averaging on the detection values to obtain a weighted average value of the detection values, and set a threshold based on the weighted average value of the detection values. The sensor control unit is configured to determine that the human body is present within the predetermined distance from the apparatus when a detection value output from the sensor exceeds the set threshold.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus for receiving a printing instruction of image data and forming an image according to the printing instruction includes a wireless communication device, an input unit, and a connector storage portion.
