Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a data packet in a wireless communication system, the method including: provisioning at least one virtual network function (VNF) corresponding to some or all of a plurality of network functions (NFs) included in a first core network; registering, in the first core network, the provisioned at least one VNF; receiving a first packet from a user equipment (UE) and determining a path through which the first packet is to be transmitted, from among a first path between a user plane function (UPF) of the first core network and an electronic device and a second path between a UPF of a second core network and the electronic device; and transmitting the first packet through the determined path.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and a control server for scheduling a computing task including a plurality of tasks to be performed by computation servers. The control server according to some embodiments includes: a transceiver; a memory; and at least one processor configured to receive the computing task from a terminal, generate a task dependency graph based on a dependency relationship of each of the plurality of tasks included in the computing task, obtain computation processing capacity information of each of the plurality of computation servers and information of transmission latency between the plurality of computation servers, schedule the plurality of tasks to be performed by at least two computation severs of the plurality of computation servers, based on the task dependency graph, the computation processing capacity information, and the information of transmission latency, and transmit, to the terminal, an execution result of the plurality of tasks received from at least one of the plurality of computation servers.

Abstract: A handover method, performed by a source base station in a wireless communication system, includes: receiving an indicator indicating a start of packet duplication transmission of a user plane function (UPF); and transmitting at least one redundant packet to a target base station, based on the indicator indicating the start of the packet duplication transmission of the UPF, wherein the packet duplication transmission includes transmitting, to the target base station, a packet that is identical to a packet transmitted by the UPF to the source base station, wherein the redundant packet includes a packet that was received from the UPF before the start of the packet duplication transmission but is not transmitted to a User Equipment (UE) and stored.
