Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display and a processor configured to control to display a first virtual reality (VR) screen including a first object on the display so that a user recognizes the first object as if the first object is positioned at a first distance from the user, in response to detecting an invocation event for a second object, control to display a second VR screen including the second object on the display so that the user recognizes the second object as if the second object is positioned at a second distance from the user, and in response to receiving a control command for the second object, control to display, on the display, a third VR screen comprising the second object to which the control command is applied.
