Abstract: An image processing apparatus may estimate a hole region based on a two-dimensional (2D) color image and a depth image corresponding to the 2D color image, and estimate color information and depth information of the hole region. The image processing apparatus may determine a view direction of an image pixel corresponding to the hole region based on the depth information of the hole region, and allocate a color value of the image pixel to a location of a display pixel corresponding to the determined view direction.
